Skffa's right. but yeah idk how many times i have seen players like Pepe go for a slide tackle and just completely send the guy flying. with only a yellow or such.

suarez deserved a red card but as far as the banning a bit harsh

Yes. I dont really support any foreign club but Im fan of van Gaal so I support clubs where he goes to. When he went to bayern I watched all their games etc, also becuz at the time van Bommel n Robben where playing there, both dutch. Now he go to man u so imma follow them. Van Persie also at man u, hope Robben joins as well. Hes best coach imo, hes very good at making players better, very skilled on the tactical lvl, lots of players working with van Gaal said they learned the most working with him n say hes the best out there. Also funny interviews with this guy, many people seem to hate him in the media but I like him, plus he dutch and if it aint dutch it aint much lol.

The Chilean goalkeeper was too keen on jumping left every time and doing so too early, the only one he managed to catch was one that landed on his leg by mistake  Grin It's a shame because Chile had played much better.

Shit I forgot we had a resident Belgian here. What do you think of your team? Where the hell did you get so much talent from Belgium is so tiny it basically doesn't exist.

tbh alot of them were hidden or not very popular outside their own leagues. with the hazard all over the headlines no one saw ppl like mertens (psv fan) or in the Pro league with alot of actual talent )young talent.

really?  Did you look at the Belgium lineup?  Its full of stars...

Courtious-won La Liga with Atletico
Kompany-won EPL with Man City
Van Buyten-has like 100 caps or something for them
Alderwiereld-Atletico
Vertonghen-Spurs
Witsel-been linked with a move to the EPL repeatedly, currently playing for big money in Russia though
Fellaini-Man U...
Dembele-Spurs
Hazard/Lukaku-Chelsea
De Bruyne-ex-Chelsea...

and that is just a starting 11.

Yea the red devils have a rich soccer history, just havent done much in last 2 or 3 cups.  This year, they should beat US 2-1.

Shit I forgot we had a resident Belgian here. What do you think of your team? Where the hell did you get so much talent from Belgium is so tiny it basically doesn't exist.

Granted we have A LOT of individual talent, I think there's still a lot of work ahead of them before they can truly be world class. The football they play at the moment is not very exciting but it does seem to get the job done however. Our defense is really strong and we have only conceded one goal in the group stage (to a penalty), so that's definitely encouraging, but I don't see them getting past a top team like Germany or France with how unimaginative their attacking play seems to be at the moment.

We have all the talent in the world, but we seem to really lack the strong sort of team synergy that you see in T1 teams, especially from the midfield onward. It doesn't help that our coach still hasn't really made up his mind on what starting 11 he wants to play and refuses to play a more inspiring formation than 4 - 3 - 3. I think if we had a better coach (Wilmots, the coach, has received quite a bit of praise for his 'golden substitutions' but that praise seems to ignore the fact that his starting 11 choice was terrible forcing him to make said substitutions in the first place. He also really doesn't have that much coaching experience, he's never won anything, not as a player or as a coach.), like a really top international one, we would be able to get more out of this team already.

Though even with a better coach I suppose it's important to remember that Belgium has one of the youngest squads in the world cup, with only 1 player having played in a WC/Eurocup before. They will grow as a team and I reckon that, even despite Wilmots, they will be a real contender for the Eurocup 2016 and the Worldcup in 2018.

Lastly, for the game against USA. I think it should be a relatively comfortable win for Belgium. I really admire the US squad and I have been rooting for them in the group stage but the way they played against Germany, I really don't see them able to break down the Belgian defenses. I think Belgium may have a shot against this Argentina after that, but will then go down to a better team in the semi's.
