The thread "Capping in EIR" have spawn generally the above positions. It would be helpful for people to vote to express the positions. Take note that Options 1 & 2 means you want to keep the system and options 3 meant you want it changed.

However, option 2 will indicate whether people in general are open to changes.

I'm going to take the liberty to add a 4th option of

'I generally like the current system but it could do with tweaking'

If you're okay with that Vilkas? I think it should be an option too

The only possible way to change the system is to defeat the 1-man squads capping.

Make the capping pop based rather than just whoever has infantry in the sector and bam, it's good.

Also add in the ability to see how far a sector is capped (Blitz mod has a percentage indicator pop up, and they have the same process of putting inf anywhere in a sector to cap it, so that one's definitely possible).

EDIT: Your poll is horrifically biased in favour of saying that it's alright, and the only option against the current system is to say that it blatantly sucks, which it doesn't. It just needs a couple of small modifications and it'll be gold.

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.
At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.

Yes, as already noted.

I've added in a 4th option and reset the poll.

The 4th option is great. I was thinking I missed something as I wrote the options.

So erm... one of the mods whoever is leading the discussion. Go summarise the arguments made and start a thread on what that summary and what tweaks it shuld have and we can vote/decide on it.
