CW-Staghound.

Why does this unit cost so much?. its just a M8 greyhound but for the CW.
it doesnt even get any real buffs as far as i can tell other than ablative.
Maybe the unit suffers from a lack of buffs rather than the unit being bad. or just to expensive
Also the USA Hellcat.
Not worth its price. take a m10, or better yet a tank reaper ATG.
Would also bring the t17 up aswell since its complete waste.
with the ostwind being as good as it is at killing LVS it seems silly to actually invest in LVS that are so high priced and cant pen a marder.

I mean, I think the Staghound is fantastic as-is. It's practically the only unit that I can LOL around the battlefield with and pull it off with nearly 30 kills later. Bear in mind that this is me and my micro we're talking about. Now, I use Ablative and double repairs.
LVs are good, they just dont fit well into the current meta of 'wall of ATGs and medium tanks vs. wall of elite infantry and heavy tanks and stupidstupas'. If/when the meta ever shifts, they will become viable, and the feared triple M8 start will again rock the Casbah.
The Hellcat...might be getting some love if I can work with it, balance wise.
EDIT: And, at your cost question Aero, the Stag is better than the Stuart in nearly every way. I couldn't get the Stuart to kill a half-health minesweeper Pio if I stuck the tank cannon all up in his Schnitzel, if you know what I mean. Meanwhile the Staghound just rips the guts out of any infantry that get in range.

Stag could use a drop in price to about 90 to mirror stuart, since they were balanced to be tandem entities. Maybe 85, but start slow. It is a pretty good anti infantry platform, especially compared to stuart and m8, however, I don't think it is so good at killing infantry that is warrants being 35 more fuel than an armored car. Yes, it does have a ability to fight off LV's(unlike ac's), but that is where the 85-90 cost is there for.
T17 is pretty bad in current state. At least stag is decent at its role. t17 will need doctrine love, not just a price change.
Hellcat probably too expensive at 300, but it is significantly better as a TD than the m10. However, it is difficult to price them in a way that people wont start taking m18's over m10s. If you made them 250, no one would take m10s, if you made them 270, people probably still take m10s.

K. So 260!
EDIT: LMFAO; the T17 and M8 have the same movement attributes. The T17 has a whopping 15 more HP than the M8 (315 vs 300). And IIRC the M8 has a better gun, a .50 cal you can buy, and mines.

No. It has different gun. T17 is better at hunting infantry. On the other hand T17 needs buff imo. It can be good, but could at least pen HTs.

guess you wasnot on a competetive level in vcoh.
Do you ever heard about Staghound spam? It was/still OP as hell. Probably that is why.
Btw it will never be OP here, since you wont spam 6-7 Staghound to roll around with it.

Before people start getting trigger happy with the Hellcat, try looking at it's weapon/platform stats.
Spoiler alert: It's penetration is a fuck ton better than the M10.
260 FU Hellcats would be a fucking wet dream for vehicle based AT.

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.

Not to speak about the ambush. I mean it's not super cool, but you can let tanks get close and then hit it in the back with bonus damage. It doesn't always work like that, but the ambush shot always pen for bonus damage which is kinda cool.
Imo hellcat should get better bonuses from armor doctrine and that should be good enough.

having 12 pop sit there and cloak for a ambush shot seems kinda weak.
Not only that but half the time its cloaked the enemy brings up their army anyway so it will still get shot in the face by a pak.

Welcome to the Hetzer
At least the cloak comes standard for the Hellcat, you have to get vet 1 for the hetz cloak still.

its shittier than the stug probably for a few reasons.
1. the hetzer i think has 50 range, and can get a spotting scope( think it can spot for itself)
2. the hetzers gun is a very flat gun, it doesnt seem to have damage modifiers against anything. unlike the stug which seems to have a whopping 1.5 damage vs shermans, and i think a 1.25 vs m10s, and even a 1.35 vs skirted panthers(thinking cuckoo)
3. most tank guns have 0.85 acc modifier vs hetzer.(low profile i guess)
4. they have pretty much same speed and rotation, only hetzer has a higher max speed than stug.
5, hetzer has 50 more hp than stug.
6. the hetzer was actually really good back when pool was here if anyone noticed it was a 6 pool for a tank destroyer. where the stug was 9. ofc that doesnt matter anymore
So basically what u got here is the hetzer which is about as alright as you can get, doesnt suck terribly but also cant accel at anything either. the main breaking point between the hetzer and stug, is the MG on the stug is just kickass along with being 8 pop and having some great modifiers vs the sherman.
as with most my post someone should double check and make sure i posted the correct stuff.

not sure.
IRC, it had a price increase, a nerf to the maingun, and possibly a change in the MG.for better or for worse idk.
i think i would decrease the price to bring it in line with the gryhound and if that didnt work out i would probably fix the maingun.
I am not sure whether it had stuart armor or not but it has m8 armor now.

MG is
at close range, but I remember its 0.45 acc at mid/long, which is pretty flipping good. The cannon is great vs inf but meh vs vehicles (still good vs most PE LVs and the Marder, and 50mm, only Hotchkisses give it trouble).
