^Makes sense since the Panther curbstomps anything that's not a Firefly and thus works fantastically in combo with the sniper-shreck-ostwind holy trinity
(shrugging off the Cromwell/Sherman and being tough to kill with easily-snipeable ATGs--yes you've got M10s or M18s but you have to brave the schreckgruppe to get to it

That pretty much sums it up. The problem I see is that the Panther can't be made doctrinal, or WM will have no armor based AT. It's as fast as the American offerings, and it has what I suspect to be the best frontal armor of any currently available tank. M18 ambush is great and all, but they'll still lose a slug with Panthers; even the 57mm ATG gets shrugged off. The most sensible US counter, the Sherman
Jumbo, (lol, IDK why I say Jumbo; was thinking of Firefly, which is not US tank, woops,) is not available of course.
