so yesterday i got the counterstrike(which sucks) box set which came with DODS, HL lost coast and HL deathmatch so i downloaded zombie panic source which is rather good but i would rather play it through vent with der members of this community, can any 1 recommend any mods to me and does any1 wanna play anything out of eir since i'm really not enjoying eir much just now.

Zombie Master and Hidden Source are staples of the EIR goofballs. Pirates Vikings and Knights 2 is also played. Kreedz climbing is also fun.

oh and i forgot to add that other mods for HL2 are well brainbread:source is coming out hopefully soon...........sometime.......in the near future.......anyway moving on turtle rock which valve acquired is releasing Left 4 Dead(L4d think ill start another thread on this) another mod or well a new game basically that is supposed to be the hardest meanest Co-op survival horror in the whole damn valley

I play ZP:S and so does stuart and a few others. that CSS pack you got was a waste most likely. Probably should of gotten UT04 for alien swarm, as I'm thinking about doing. Since HL2 DM you can actually get for free anyways.
Well Zombie Master is fun to play at times, but ZP:S is much better. Those are the only HL2 mods I play.
I've always heard awesome things about Hidden: Source, but I've never bothered to play it.

Empires is another good one if you fancy some RTS flavor to your FPS. Garry's Mod 9 is also fun if you have alot of time to waste.

Hidden is ok, I didn't like it that much but it was decent. I really liked zombie master. I played ZP when the beta was out and I didn't like it at all, mabye it's improved alot.

get garry's mod, it's 10 bux, but it's worth it, and they have all sorts of games, you can build shit, blow up shit, make uber-complex electronic things with wiremod, have space-adventures with spacebuild2,liifesupport2,and stargate, and there's teh zombie and DM stuff, along with roleplay for when you're feeling mellow, nad htere's a gamemode coding contest spree going on, so expect a lot more, last one was gardening, we got omnivora (fun) and fruit drops (fun) out of it.
And for god's sake, get an SVN client if you get garrysmod. And don't type like me on facepunch, you'll get banhammored.
