* Increase build time.  it's absurd how quick they build. you can button something, build a 17 and have it taking shots before the button ends.

* Increase power of incendiary round (m-ht) and nebel flame against emplacements.  They don't do enough right now. (Contrary to what some have said, nebels/incendiary rounds shouldn't be a direct counter to emplacements - that's what they were before, and it made emplacements unuseable.)

* Regular mortar damage seems about right. An emplacement can unpack under mortar fire, but you lose it if you delay at all.

* Slightly reduce the range on 17, bofors, vickers. -5 each. Perhaps -10 on 17.

the emplacements are only one problem the davs made by buffing piats, emplacements blahblah:
blobbing is more effective then it was before and than it was in EiR. and sim citying is also very popular again...especially mods exploit the uberness of e.g. empöacements, that means they know emplacements are uber right now. sad.

I would say make the build time slightly longer and the unpack time slightly shorter. Same rough time to redeploy, but more of that time is spent with the axis knowing you're vulnerable thus making emplacements a little easier to counter with indirect fire.

I just played a game of EIRR, and it was honestly worse than Scheldt vcoh. I'm not playing vs Brits again until next patch. 17's are mobile, free repair 88s. Bofors are a combination ATG, Sniper, and MG, but with more range, also with free repair. It's ok to have emplacements be usable in EIR, but the current British are simply stupid. The game is unplayable.

I just played a game of EIRR, and it was honestly worse than Scheldt vcoh. I'm not playing vs Brits again until next patch. 17's are mobile, free repair 88s. Bofors are a combination ATG, Sniper, and MG, but with more range, also with free repair. It's ok to have emplacements be usable in EIR, but the current British are simply stupid. The game is unplayable.

Yeah playing against brits is not fun anymore. I played today 3v3 on abbe, they made fucking new york city in the town, arty was like rain, sure u can win, but it looks like vcoh now, suicidal blob charges, arty spam, and sim cities, no fun for me.

I love the piats blob now. They kill anything. Tanks, infantry anything.
I made the mistake at closing down some volks to two piat squads, they died faster than they would have been smg rangers ! I dont view them as engees anymore, theyre leet infantry. My p4 is like cattle getting to the butcher. I have never seen something like it lol, piats make schreks absolute.

'free repair' is way overexaggerated. 88s are extremely resistant to artillery fire, moreso than 17s, although they can be decrewed by direct hits. plus 88s have more firepower and range.

note however that 88s take a frigging eon to build.

usually, axis players dont suicide their units but use them tactically. ok, when u suicide rush an AC it wont do much damage because its weak. but when u suicide rush commandos, piat blobs (nearly every brit player has a piat blob in his company) they will rape!

From what I've seen, emplacements were overbuffed, piats has become a cheap type of RR on low population super cheap squads combined with the patheticness of the current skirts. Americans are looking like the most well-rounded faction atm
