The only reason commando's clock when popping smoke(which acts as an actual smoke also) is so they can break suppression. Units that fall into cloak reset their suppression values. Try putting Falls into cover fighting against a HMG.(naturally only the rifle FSJ fall back into ambush)

Wrong burn, cloaked stormies used to crawl around screaming for momma for quite some time after being buttraped by a quad.
And you can suppress/pin a fall squad you "know is there" by forcing suppresion weapons to attack a vehicle wreck nearby them. I know I did it once with a tripple bren MMG callin, was hilarious.

cloaked units always break suppression for me. It's if your cloaked and recevie suppression that they hit the dirt. My FSJ always revert to normal when they fall into ambush

Cloak doesn't do that. The fact that your Falls squad is in cover and then does not recieve fire when invisible does do it. Command smoke breaks suppression because.. the ability, like fire-up, turns it off.

Well halftracks/ bikes get killed in seconds against commando's and a puma doesnt do c**p against them. Just misses everyshot with maybe a few good hits.

Ya cause commandos have armor piercing stens.

ITT:  Dragon has a bad experience and decides the unit in question must be nerfed.  Smoke grenades are pretty much just a variant of fire up, there's little Commandos do that Rangers can't, and they have no AT.

made a brit company yesterday->watched at the doctrine tree (iLOLed)->played a game->iLOLed again->watched into my Battalion Screen (vet2 commandos)->iLOLed the third time

=> cant wait to see this shit as vet3 and with the doctrine buffs (decoy gliders, emergency exit, who dares, hit it running, Evasive Maneuvers...)

Me and vet3keeps, (go look at the squad leader boards) fought two three times.  vet3keeps has a lot of vet 2/3 KCH.  Even two vet 2/3 KCH were getting stomped by a single vet 3 commando.  Rushes, pops smoke, appears 2 feet away in heavy cover, eats them.  However, when he dropped 2 gliders right in the middle of all my stuff, I did blow one up before the other one ate all my stuff.  Must have armour on to deter these guys.
