This is my new map I am working on.
This is a tribute map due we mappers are more in the crew now with this hidden forum.

Playable Width: 480 x 448
Note: This map will be Urban, with Rual at the bottom, so the its not 480x448, thats gonna change.
Type: Urban Top, Middle and Fields down
Done: 20%

This is Sh sh sh!!!

This will be like always a Surprise. If its done in time, my request is that this will be added with  the new Luncher and in the "Sneek peek" section of the forums, you will see a small piece of the map.

nice!

already so much progress, make sure with these ubran maps that you dont screw up the pathing, only a few objects must be placed in the town. just use the smallest ones that give the most cover, some walls between or in front buildings for example.

I cant make my mind up... Too make this map more urban and skip the forest, or keep the forest -.-

Fields are very spartan-like, that is a good thing, I don't think the hedges are a problem.
I really like the overall layout so far, the town could use some work because it looks a bit unnatural imo.

Edit: The town is those 3 Sectors, 1 more is gonna be added to the right
But the top is more Forest, we could make it more urban and remove 80% of the forest

I'm talking about the transition from urban into rural and what seems to be industrial. (on the right-)
The chateau also looks a little out of whack, especially the tiny courtyard. People also generally didn't build chateau's right at the street of a town.

The transition from street to urban tile is also a little weird

I really love the bottom part and railroad work

yeah. My new plan is:

Town, the hole way. From left to right. No industry, just down.
Down is a rail cutting the 1/3 of the map into an Rual.
Top is gonna be removed, and become a town, with a Churche, or some good building.

So:
         Top, cant go futher

It's going to be town all across the width of the map or will there also be some rural left and right of it?

The Urban will be like an U where the map is a [ ]

So at the left, right and down will be Rual, just some meters, maybe 30. Then the town starts.
This map is about the outside of a town. Or the Edge.
Starting in a town is more... Meh, I think it be more fun riding in too a town.

That will be some remaking, but it will work

The map is WIDE,

At the top part, you can have 4 Jagedpanthers next to each other.
In the Roads, you can fit 2 Jagedpanthers (and some extra)

Idea: In the Middle CROSS, to the middle town... Seems to be a bit to much open, Maybe need to change that... Now the urban is open in the roads... But thats maybe a good thing, Rushing forward on roads should be a deathtrap

Edit: Top pictures changed, the forest will be removed

big open crossroad is fine, just place some walls/trees/cars/objects on the sidewalks.

This map is soon ready for a test game.
I wont do Detail until we had a game on the map, and watches if the game mode we have in this half unique map works

you should really rename it back to paris, people will renember that name, and if the map is good people will know its there.

ubran rails just sounds... unkown...

lol, a y crossing for railroad on a road intersection, that makes sense  Grin

i still think you'd better remove some hedges, and where is the big chateao on the top? i think putting a chateao area like crossroads has will do alot of good to this map, it simply looks the same everywhere :/

map also looks alot like carentan, and thats a 4v4. whats the size of the map? compared to carentan?

nice to see ur so far already btw, im just trying to post some useful feed back  Wink
