FF's kinda randomly snipe infantry. I've noticed it's not always from direct hits though but because its damage output is so high, if it hits close, sometimes the splash can kill even though it's low but it has really poor infantry accuracy (i think like .15)
the panther on the other hand is great at sniping infantry, especially stationary like support weapons as it has a .50 chance of hitting infantry. Panthers used right can be really nasty vs infantry. With the panzer aces being fixed, i may use one or 2 now instead of a tiger since i can snipe anything before i'm seen.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

Range of tanks mean nothing because all ATGs out range Tanks so any tank engagements occurs at close range after ATGs are taken out or any other situation where ATG's have become uninvolved in the engagement.

what it means is getting one or two more shots off before what you're targeting can retaliate. An M-10 or m-18 is always going to get the first shot off on a tank because of it's longer range, same with a panther, or kt. why do u think that hetzers with scopes are so good? Take either the sight or the range buff and you wont see as many of them but together they're nasty

Btw, the chance to use range to your advantage is low, most played maps are ones that reduce range of long range units, such as the 88. We always have either a town to nulify range and/or hedge groves.
However the new Africa map will be interesting as we will finally see the advantages of ranged units.

hate to revive this.
but what about sherman spam, or depending on more up gunned shermans using overlord.
If i read correctly its -1 sec reload.
Im not sure what % is that. But wonder the usefulness of -1 sec compares to HVAP rounds.

well hvap rounds let you fight tanks better, while the 1second reload means you shoot faster...personally if you were to use sherman spam, I'd say go double repairs with either mobile warfare or the middle t4 that allows you to use non-upgunned shermans and get HE rounds. HVAP is better for tank destroyers or pershings imo.

HVAP is nice on Shermans for the damage and critical bonuses tbh.
Your still buggered against any type of Heavy Armour, but if you run a pair of Shermans, you'll probably drop a Tiger or Panther using HVAP. Luck permitting anyhow.

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.
At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.

hvap means your sherman has pretty good chance of pentrating anything frontally upto a KT, not sure about tiger, but vs panther down is great.

I'm pretty sure I made the penetration tables for a HVAP Sherman against Axis armour. If I recall, none of the long range penetration rates for heavy armour was above 50%. I'll confirm it once I've woken up properly.
