Mandos, MGs and tetrachs gliding into fields while Fireflies follows in the rear.

Go ahead and try this Commando blitzkrieging tactic to defeat enemies morale and motivation before you manage to even to react to it! Non-stacked match

WARNING! Results depend on the Skill of the player WARNING!

Due to unforseen problem with the real life the player gave me the task and files to upload the shite up for them.

dont know much about commandos, do they have an instant drop in ability? and what Tier is it? If I manage to be able to start playing again, I was thinking of going mandos and using them like raid assault AB.

Commando glider drops work on the exact same timer as standard call-ins.

So in essence, at the start of a match you have instant reinforcements on demand, if you call in a glider late game, then your taking a hefty risk.

Airborne on the other hand is 30 seconds regardless of the point in the game.

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.
At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.

Does not work against Tank Hunters and Terror.

Then again terror can pretty much take care of anything these days.

I don't know.. it seemed like some rather crumby pIV play at the start.  He should've sat at range sniping non-piat stuff.  Never mind the fact that you guys were so close to the spawns, that a pair of pumas could've decimated your defenses with the spawn buff.

I can tell you haven't played against a Terror player spamming marksmen shot and pevertin pills.

Then again stomping someone doesn't mean your a good player.

i was in about 4 games of 2v2 where my allied did the instant drop on the left flank near axis starting point. I rushed in to help him.

Sometimes it allows us to stand firm or fall back a bit and dominate.

Only seen it fail once. 1:4. I think he was a noob.
Armor owned his ass.

First time i saw this it was ballsy as hell. Worked.

I think instant drop needs to be removed, or have cool down at start. Its like calling in arty on the guys starting position in the first 4 seconds.

Spawn buff will crush you heavily.

This is only effective against bad players or on maps that have far team spawns or close enemy spawns(Either his ally can't help quick enough, or your team mate can help quick enough)

Commando's are definitely good for getting into a town and securing it. But  decent players will just collapse into you and then it's 2v1 until your team mate gets there and if his callin isn't built for speed your probably throwing troops away.

Also to add that even if you are good enough to hold off 2v1 or 3v1 you may just lose to being out capped due to the lack of your capping

I presume you never watched the replay then, therefore your points are invalid.

or it may slow down the enemy so they cant cap. and commandos allies can setup their position better.

And they then lose 2-1 while you move up troops to support him after losing your initial call-in

I believe the answer is almost none of them, because they thought I lost my initial call-in ^^

---

The line up is

Cloud
McNap (New Guy, hasn't even bought a single doctrine ability at all!)

vs

LeutnantOlma
*Someone* (Sorry forgot the name)

The strategy opens up with a fast drop into the front to hold the line with resilient troops, waiting for your ally to come up.

It works very well regardless of what anyone says because of the current player mentality.

1. People are being chicken, kiting, babying their veterancy, fighting at loong range instead of moving in for the kill. Its always easy to comment from a third person's perspective on how easy it is to beat this strategy.

2. Fog Of War. People do not know what you drop in and you can always vary it. I've played with another player who used a very similar tactic with me. I will not give his name so he can have fun with it =p . You can put down demolition, have grenades, have pure piats, have tetraches only, its all up to your imagination.

The benefits of this strategy is not about spawn camping, its about fast and rapid deployment into strategic location. It can be easily tailored to achieve whatever you want.

Have some imagination.
