I am having some trouble making my Tiger as effective as other people, so I'm looking for help in these areas:

1. What units/how to use those units to support the Tiger
     -Actually, I know that a shrek and an MG are vital in support, but what other units? A pak? Mortar?
     -How to position these units, where to place my Tiger in the formation, etc ?
2. When to engage the enemy
3. How to deal with ATG's

1) Double-shrecked Stormtroopers against ATGs. They will kill the ATG in seconds. If Tiger is flanked by Tank Destroyers, they too will be destroyed in seconds.

2) A motorcycle to spot for enemies. Park it behind a shot blocker.

A funky technique I like using every now and again is a Sniper with a Tiger, once Jeeps have been cleared of course.

Keep the Tiger behind the Sniper, and have the Sniper pick off support team and infantry as it does. Inevitably they will run infantry or vehicles after your Sniper - To which the Tiger is waiting to gib/turn to scrap.

Once the offending squad/vehicle is disposed of, resume the picking off until your enemy rages or has a gaping hole in their lines for all to exploit.

Keeping a shreck on hand is optional in the case that they send armour with a bit of meat on it.

At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.

Hmm so basically, I'm getting the feeling the Tiger is for protecting your other units mostly, and making the enemy come to you?

And yes bikes are important, whats their sight 55 or 60?

First, Tiger is just a big P4. Use it vs the same targets.

I prefer a Tiger, PaK, Mortar combo.

Which I remember being on the recieving end of once a while back.

Worked very well as his teammates were also supporting AmPM with an AI unit I believe from memory.

Don't support it with an MG.

Good things to support with:
Sniper (five stars!)
schreck squad (useful against armor)
grenediers (lots)
bike (spot with/countersniping)


minesweepers are also handy

Basically, just kill the AT guns with whatever and then snipe away with the tiger.

Yes I agree with Masacree because an MG is an infantry counter, but a Tiger does not fear infantry.

due to recent change price of the atgs nowadays we see less atgs on the field but still u cant rush with ur tiger because it has really bad moving accuracy...

every time when chasing enemy or running from enemy try to stop ur tiger when it try to hit...

just use tiger as a protective unit...

a pak and a shrek is a must and bike can be very usefull for giving sight for ur pak and getting in position for upcoming attack...

MG is nice as it'll stop hordes of riflemans trying to sticky it, but KCH are better as they can have a faust too.

I don't bother with bikes now that I have the bottom t3. I start with Tiger + shrek storms, then wait for 1 more pop in game so I can call in more grens (LMG or Shrek depending on situation). You don't NEED to use all 25 pop straight up.

dont listen to the noobz telling u to use stotms vs atg that result in most cases in a waste of a 320++ mun squad

support your tiger with shreck storms vs m10 rush and sniper vs atg

kill atgs only with storms after u overrun them already

vs firefly back the hell up and get some pak support

and only start with tiger if u got double repair and ur team knows about that and how to support u

Also, important, hotkey for "halt" is h, so hit it right before your tiger fires and your accuracy will go way up. Pretty much the key to vehicle micro in this game tbh.

storms kill atg,bar uses SF...you can see end result...I have seen so many storms die for nothing cuz player sends them to kill something,but you dont see stuff that's around that atg.

thanks guys! i've gotten the hang of it now it seems, plus the ATG price increase has made it a breeze

all that's left to try is sniper + tiger combo, but i fear because i was never good with snipers

unless you have teamate dont try sniper + KT,it will fail...KT can't kill a single jeep,nor can they stoop inf rush.

Tigers kinda crap. One of the only ways is by just spamming volks and assault around it even then it fails. Tiger, well, in short it is one of the shitiest vehicle due to its cost and its slow speed. Ultimately Storms vs Tiger is the best anti tank counter when it comes to that, however it still lacks vs the most evident enemy. The 57 and 6Pdr. Even Firefly loves your tigers and I love fighting vs tiger companies because they are more or less reliable due to certain key units that surround the Tiger.


For example.

Sniper + Tiger. The Sniper is the key unit for Tiger's success. Removing the Sniper means the Tiger turns to death weight due to lack of Anti tank gun counters.

Support Weapons + Tiger. Ultimately this does not work offensively therefore making the company static and vulnerable to snipers and artillery. Especially RCA and Infantry with Arty heavy loves to bombard those lines. The key unit in support blob is the Mortar, Once it is gone the support weapon creep is gone due to inability to deal with the key enemy.

Infantry + Tiger. Infantry army swarming around the Tiger like zerglings around the hivemind would work if the infantry is armed versus suppression tools such as keep it moving with smoke and assault. Due to massive pop cost even THIS support will remain very very minimal.

Therefore I don' know how to make Tigers from vulnerable to strong one.
