RCA doesnt need earthshaker, i mean, the reason why its so good is becuase it has soo much drift. On a V1 drift is necessary because it only hits once, if it mises acuse to drift, thats perfectly fine, the offmap is done. But if earthshacker drifts, theres not really any escaping it

You're right, it's silly that the Royal Canadian Artillery gets a powerful Artillery strike. Man, who would have ever thought of THAT?

As a frequent user (and occasional dodger) of the Earthshaker barrage, I can safely say that it is very easily avoided, just like any other strike. First of all, it's unmistakeable when it's called in, since around 6 or 7 flares appear. Your escape is aided by the fact that it takes quite a while for the shells to start coming down in the first place. Your problem is you're probably not getting far enough away. Yes, it has a massive area of effect. What did you expect? An earth-tickler?

Yeah but not all the offmaps were supposed to be Killing types. the WP strike for Armour and Precision Strike were supposed to be Utility strikes used during a push so your enemy either moves the Gun so it isn't hitting the tank or he sits in the fire and potentially dies.

As everyone can see Precision Strike is more powerful then intended and WP strike is alot weaker then intended. However because these Offmaps function so we'll people cry 'unnecessary nerf' when we try and change them, which leads to them becoming entrenched into the doctrine structure.Utility off maps are fine. they reward gameplay.

WP needs more damage, or units need reduced accuracy, or it needs to be bigger, or a combination of them. if it outright killed the atg/s if they didnt move it would be fine. but many times the atgs just sit there, lose 1 guy so it doesnt do much. or it should be like smoke where anything inside of it takes tremendous accuracy loss and suffers no damage and lasts long enough to make an assault.

But if you put it behind the enemy he can just not move, because he'll see the markers are not on his units. Unless of course you place it half on his units and half behind, which = panic lol, you move forward and die, or you move back into the earthshaker

remember i used it about 2-3 times. Dropped it on a blob and ATGs, took like 5% health off the guys. Its a joke.

Other then rocket arty and WP, we can agree that the offmaps are laregely balanced yes? They are, actually, supposed to take this long to drop. When you use an offmap, its supposed to be dropped on either A) a doomfort that CANNOT move in time (glob of mgs and atgs, not mobile foot soldiers or tanks) or B) on a sector that you know/suspect the opponent isnt hovering over--if you drop it and his screen isnt centered on the spot, itd be hard for him to gtfo in time--thats why offmaps work so great with distractions. Steal his attention, drop offmap when he looks away, profit.

Its a theorycraft but w.e

Delay rocket arty by 2-5 seconds, increase WP DoT damage to match Firestorm and everyone goes home happy, yes?.
