I just want to say I haven't had this much fun using a unit in sometime! I wish I was RCA forever ago. I wasn't planning on getting them, but just got them on a whim, and wow, I just love these things!

One question, stuhs don't usually bounce on shermans or most any armor unit they hit, but 95 croms do, is this intentional? I thought since it's using an arty shot it should always penetrate? Is it like this for balance reasons or what?

yah the idea was 95mm cromwell gets turret so disadvantage is it bounces off tanks.
but if you hit right next to the tank the AOE still dmges it.
95mm cromwell also has 40 range while stuh has 45.

Yeah, Stuh has superior penetration compared to the 95mm crom.

And the 95mm crom shoots a little faster.

which makes sense...the stuh uses 105mm shells and the crom obviously 95mm.

i love the 95, if you want to spam them go dual t3's, either 2 will do. accuracy + aoe, damage + aoe, acc + dmg etc.

My fav dual is aoe + dmg, which makes the aoe do more damage. acc + dmg is nasty too but sometimes you want it to fire wildly.

cct + 95mm = beeeeast. back it up with piats and a 57 and ur set.

10 + 2 + 8 + 5 that was my old 95mm spam start

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

i tryed to get the 95mm to get nerfd once, the price was lowerd instead.
tbh 95s are way to effective for their price and RoF + the ability to flank At guns with ease(if it dont 1hitkill them in the first place) makes it the perfect killer and even better if you have a pair of them them with a vet3 command tank with the damadge bonus you can kill a pair of p4s in seckonds.

but the main issue with them is that they suck vs any type of armor and at. schrecks, paks and any tank with at ability will rape them. low rof without a cct and slow. They're priced about the same as stugs.

What? Tym you really should PLAY more with the units you present your opinions on. Other players might read this and take your "advice" seriously.

First of all 95mm is very good at taking out both paks and shreks. With the double T3s, static infantry is removed in 2 shots from full health on average.

Paks get gibbed really fast as well. Its a super exellent AI unit. Their ROF is not low at all. Move behind shots, stay active managing your units. Love my 95mm company to death - would NOT want to fight it without buffed fuel-based AT.

As for tanks, yes its not a unit that rapes everything at 10 pop for 180 fuel. Its really not. It's hilariously good with buffs, and with support you can just chill out while their stugs/p4s/panthers crash against piats and 6 pounders.

smokaz...i've ran 95mm croms since they were introduced so i know its strengths and weaknesses. Like u said STATIC infantry. Also if you're engaged by a pak at long range, it'll take out at least half your health b4 u can kill it.

I'm sorry i dont have 1000 CPS like u smoker i'm probably average in that category, i'm not very good at using attack ground n such, i actually let the thing automatically fire!

Can the 95mm reliably shoot over hedges? Surprisingly I haven't encountered them more than once, and never used them. Asking because stuh is really bad at shooting over obstacles... it always hits the obstacle

It cannot. Shooting over destroyed buildings however, is possible.

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.
At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.

If the destroyed building is taller than the tank itself, then obviously the tank isn't going to be able to shoot over it. Because 95mm Cromwells don't roll 'hits', they fall victim to physics.

They fail at shooting over quite low hedges as well.

Opposite extreme to piats, which can shoot over high buildings...

Both is retarded.

Storms are ninjas hiding in the shadows, crawling in the grass maybe, sneaking behind enemy  Roll Eyes

Piats seem like anti gravity weapons.
