Uh. So, Ive played my infantry company for ages, have never used this once. Ever. What does it do? Im guessing that it adds 2x uses of AP shells/AP ammo to US atgs/mgs that are currently on-field, thereby removing the need to purchase them in the launcher. Is that the effect, or does it add 2 shells worth of duration to the time the ability stays active?

It adds 2 ap upgrades to all your hmgs and atgs on the field.

if you have the bottom t4 it does something i thikn it lowers the cooldown.

Yeah 2x AP round uses to ATG/MG's on field.


If you have the bottom Tier 4 every 'Use' or AP Rounds that you have lowers the AP Round Cooldown by 30s. The Tier 4 always gives AP rounds on Cooldown. So if you buy AP rounds you have 60s reduced cooldown and if you have Stacking shells you can Reduce it by 120s or 180s(if you keep shit alive)

really...thats pretty awesome. do you actually have to use stacking shells to get the cooldown or is it automatically with purchase.

its fucking great at saving munitions!

i totally rely on it in my infantry company, i have call ins of mgs and atgs, two of those call ins dont have AP rounds, so that's 40mu x 2 + 25mu x 2 = 130 extra mu i can spend on BARs and nades, on top of this if I know im calling on my call in that doesnt have AP rounds I'll capture as many atgs as i can, then when i use SS i get AP rounds on THOSE. So this is giving my captured ATGs AP rounds as well, which is like getting 40+ extra mu.

On top of all this I never save AP rounds, I use them as soon as I see a vehicle, no "i better save these AP rounds for a P4 or worse" so that as well adds a dynamic.

Stacking shells is quite worth it, not only dose it give you the ability to save mun on grenades for units but also let you use it on recrewd weapons.
i had it on my old Inf comp i deleted once and i used it to the fullest and with TR(old one that was just nerfed to mediocrity) it was a beast.

AP rounds on cooldown (via the t4) = unlimited uses with a cooldown, or just a shorter cooldown.

Unlimited uses on cooldown. There is just a shorter cooldown based on how many charges you have

The way I made it work is if you have the bottom T4 each additional stacking shell you use reduces the Cooldown of AP rounds by something like 30s or something (Cant remember exact time). The coolest thing is that stacking shells also works on captured or recrewed MGs and ATGs.

doesnt work on paks, i used it when i had a pak and no rounds on it.

Not a fan of stacking shells, but its ok in general. Good if you have 2 or more atgs on the field, but that doesnt happen all that often, atleast for me, usually just got 1 and some other form of AT, unless mass enemy armour.

Captured makes it sound like weapons you capture from the enemy no? So one would assume CAPTURED MGs and ATGs would be MG42s, pak38s, pak40s. I feel that's a very safe assumption to make. I don't CAPTURE my allies support weapons, I reman them.

Unless it was changed from when the ability was first made, it should still work on captured MG42s and Pak38s.

i believe when i used it on a pak last it was indeed moving, so ill have to try when it's set up, maybe ill play my infantry company tonight just to test it out.
