lmao, it's all about money. Despite there being more and more money being made off software and gaming, corporations still cry foul.

My god i hate the politicians in this country, they don't control crap, it's all controlled by business, especially the republicans, they're the worse.

There are bills that get shot down that actually do good but because some corporation doesn't get any benefits from it, they pressure these idiots to kill it, aaargh.

It cant hurt to follow the steps. I sent one of their little pre-scripted messages to my senators.

It'll probably get thrown in the garbage with the rest of the junk mail, but at least I can say i sent them something. Would've been nice to know about this earlier tbh.

Student groups (including the one I'm affiliated with) at my campus have been posting flyers and handing out leaflets on these bills recently. Trying to provide an impetus to motivate college students out of their pot addled apathetic stupor is, however, difficult...

The only thing you can say to them that makes their heavily pierced ears perk up at all is "Ron Paul wants to legalize marijuana". Unfortunately that seems to be the extent of their interest. If you try to engage them on something like economics or taxation the most you'll get out of them is "Dude... Like... People should just be able to like.... you know... keep their money".

Shit I'm pretty sure you could offer the guy a cup of coffee and he'd try to kill you with the mug if you forgot sugar.

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.

The thing that irks me is that in the past, the American government has thought that they can censor the internet not only in their own country, but for the entire world. I could care less if they ban certain websites in America, maybe it'll give Americans an opportunity to realize other countries are more livable, but if they extend their reach to the entire goddamn world, that's crossing the line.

Its actually quite easy
