A lot of people are going to yell at others for failing and the fact is getting good at this mod takes time. You need to be able to micro and have situational awareness, all of which can be very hard to balance during a hectic game. People that are good just expect others to preform at their level or at least a competent level of play. Now being new means that you're more then likely not going to play at a competent level. Hell even I and some other well established players can still have a horrible game, and play like crap. How I stopped sucking was from playing with Lionel several times. He will yell the victory into you which forces you to actually pay attention and use units wisely. So if you are doing something really dumb people will say something about it and they are not calling you personally retarded but what you are currently doing with your units is retarded. So harsh words will be said but we are all friends in the end so don't take it personal dude, because there are a great set of people on here who I play countless other games with. I started out pretty fail and through the kindness/harshness of others learned how to play the game. It's a love/hate thing really just try your best to listen and that's most of us ask for.

Yah im always listening to people and I finally have a good build with veteran units thanks to the fact that I burrowed ideas from a whole lot of threads in this forum, but i dont mind people telling me what my unit was doing is retarded,

but the problem is some people take this way, Way, WAY to seriously. Especially when the games over you gotta deal with the fact that the guy is still in vent with you and you have to listen to him all day long as he points out your mistakes and makes him self look flawless,

its just ignorance I hate.

I have small data files on about everyone in this forum, personalities, traits, play stiles, Do's and don'ts ^^ And this community has a lot of love... as long as you are willing to be loved in the same way a prostitute is loved during that hour you pay her.

Most ppl in her are very ego-centric the biggest of these narcissists are Smokaz, Myst, Kwia, Wind, David (Shockcoil), Nugnug (bangbang or whatever smurf he is using now) Hicks and Morka OH and ofc his husband BigDick. (add demon to this list)

Now pudding he has ofc and ego-centric attitude but, he is actually a rather caring kinda guy, whos only real "issue" is time wasters or ppl going afk and not saying anything.

Him getting pissed off with you during game, well shit, he might have had a rather bad day or as the others have stated he can also be a bit irrational, much like LeoPhone, a spouting geyser of a player who just needs a few centigrade to get a final rage eruption and spew molten flem all over you until you end up either powering down you PC in self preservation or dying by brain implosion, BUT

He is also a rather nice guy ^^

This community will reward you in the end with some for of respect and comradeship as long as they notice you are trying and play rather well ^^ If you fail to often like I did and lets be honest here still do, then you'll get some cute nick names like ass muncher or Rocksitter.

So far I have met a lot of great people in EIR so I wont say the communities bad

there are some friendly guys like the more new players u named before or people who have a strong will (like me) staying nice between all these dickhead internet trolling pricks

so no worries just ignore them and keep playing and ask if u need help

I didin't saw this yesterday otherwise i would have replied then,it was actually Ponte du Hoc map from Deadbot(Keeps) ,first of all he made us wait like 10 min in the game and nobody knew where he was so i PM him twice in the vent to get back in the game fast coz the 1st time he did not replied then he spam pm me to harash me and told me in the launcher that i should wait until i get replied ,and he tried to harash me in the game lobby but i totally ignored him,i got the replay if u guys find it interesting to watch ,i don't want to go in detail ,i never had anything with puddin before but i got myself surprised yesterdy how he reacted towards me , enjoy and I am GORK so don't think i am someone else ,i am using this account coz i am not able to get into my Gork account in EIR forum

This is some background information if you really care,
Ive been registered to this mod a long time ago, The reason I had stopped playing is because of constant NAT errors due to my bad connection, back then there were plenty of nice people to hang around with even though I couldnt play games.

and now I Want an honest opinion on this,

lately I met really good people who are willing to put up with mistakes(FiddleStix thanks man) I make since I am not able to unlock much as a starting armor company commander, and then I meet the sour place of this community which I dont mind much you know since I understand not every one can be nice.

But still I have not been able to play with many people, so I try to go to vent and try to make friends out of people,

one of these people being puddin,

Im sure people who played this mod long enough know how he acts but please do tell me not every one acts like him?

So yesterday I saw puddin's name on vent for about a hour before he left thats how I got to know him and play in another game that we had today,

we played on a normandy(3 v 3) map and instantly he starts making fun of the map creator for making the territories 'to wide'

Later he criticizes one of our team mates of how he seems to be 'bad', I said ok, maybe hes joking around.

Later he criticizes me for failing to target a nebelwerfer while a mg, 2 volks, storms and a sniper are all around my rifles, Granted I took that this was my mistake as I let me units auto target something (told em to stop, funnily targetted the mg hehe).

Then he criticizes the fact that I am capturing territory with my rifles instead of helping a defensive stance in the middle (maybe he was planning an offensive so it could be my bad).

I criticized him, saying he had no right to make fun of people, he responded with vulgar words starting with C, F, B and all the swears you can name from the bible.

I was suprised, at first,  I thought he was joking around so i slapped those words right back at him,

later I realised he was being serious about calling me these words,

I find it funny though, how emotionally people can be effected by a simple game, I can understand that he wanted his best effort to win but yet taunting and saying "im against you, not with you" will not help your team succeed,

I tried hard to cope with him, I said sorry to be greeted with words such as "noob", I told him he was a good player to receive the same insults, I pinged the map of important enemy locations and attacks that would hurt us only to be told "you need a microphone or your a noob" (implying he wont listen to anything I have to say).

Later I got angry, I mean who couldnt get angry at this guy? I thought he was trolling me at first but this guy was being so serious I thought he was a red neck, although that mind sound harsh thats what I was really thinking, later it became a heated argument which resulted in our loss due to us not being able to cope with the fact that maybe its good to listen to your team mates about the game once in a while.

After that he proceeded to boast about how he had the highest score and how his team mates were noobs (to be honest he was happy with the fact he had 200 more score then me and 9 more kills while having the highest death ratio).

Now I have to remind you, this man joined my channel, and made fun of as many people as he can, since I didnt like it, he chose to call me noob, swear at me, and be as vulgar as possible to demoralize me for trying to talk back. After the game puddin started to say "4 v 4? LOL with a noob? KIK"

hardly made sense to me, but since he said 'noob' I thought he meant me, I might as well just say sorry once again,

so I did and he replies with "LOL not you, you idiotic noob".

And then I finally said sorry again until he completely ignored me and started to make fun of other people,

Funny thing is most people agree with this man, saying that he is right about everything he did here, and that ticks me off to see me shamed for just playing this mod alone.

Im not saying "fix the attitude" rather I am just pointing out my experience as a 'new' player to how I was greeted into this mod,

While I am typing this I am angry (you can say to me "U MAD?" and I will humbly accept your opinion as that is how I feel right now) and to be honest who cannot be angry when you have some internet tough guy telling you how bad you are and why I dont deserve to play with "high ranking players" in this mod.

So to make it short for people who do not wish to read my wall of text, Is every person a fine example of 'puddin' in this mod? Do I have to deal with name calling everytime I play a game?(Since most people like and agree with puddin and who wouldnt, youd like to agree with the person you know more rather then some new guy who just joined the game).

Even if it is the case, I love this mod and will continue to play it even if I am demoralized a hundred times (puddin's obviously all over this) since I really think it has a great mechanic and I shouldn't ruin it because of some goof ball who decides to ruin every ones fun.

P.S. - Puddin if your reading this, I hope you had a good time in Carolina   (no sarcasm of course, and you can continue to hate me for being nice to you, doesnt mind me).

I think most people, myself included, understand your concern. For the most part we concur.

However, the longer this thread continues, the less credibility it will carry. I would suggest just letting it die.

Heartmann's right, I can be a ego centric son of a bitch when I want to be... If you catch me playing EiRR while I'm sober, I usually run a doctrine of being casual/shit talking the regulars, and being between tolerant and nice to the new guys depending on how decent my day was.

I'll say this much, if you feel you need some pointers with making an effective armour company or how to use it, feel free to give me a shout. I'm very experienced with Armour and have tried every T4 doctrine unlock and T3 combo that's worth anything so I've picked up a trick or two.

Final tip, if you bump into me while drunk, be prepared for epic lulz or epic rage depending on how far I'm gone. Can be best to just avoid me. :p (Might start putting a drinking tag by my name in vent when I'm chugging the beers. xD)
