I believe they have a nerfed version of the Thompson. It was either in the patch notes or Leophone mentioned it sometime ago. I could be wrong though.

Anzacs use the Owen SMG rather than the Thompson SMG, and from what I can tell in the RGD's, the stats are exactly the same on each.
Accuracy, damage, reload, cooldown, range, moving modifiers, target tables... All the same.
Quite possibly, you fell victim to bad dice rolls, or were moving at medium range or above.

Two Bren Carriers. One with an Anzac, the other with a Commando Lt. Should be fairly rape face. Anzacs seem almost made for Bren Carriers come to think of it. 4 Men, 4 firing slots. May have to give this a spin at some point. |
