COH is a dying breed and more mods for the vanilla game will not improve the situation.

Im pretty sure that there will be no serious Company Of Heroes follower due to it's unkown consistency. And if there
will be a second part of it, the main community will be dissapointet because they had to change the main game  -experience/-play/-style.
(Otherwise it would face the same fate as the actual company of heroes)

the thing about EIR, most of us are big gamers, we go play something else for a while but we always come back, it's inevitiable.

like someone said, after the wipe we'll see how it goes, we're geting a lot of new players lately.

btw, there really hasn't been a big PR push yet for EIR and we still get new guys,

Yeah, our player base has the ability to grow organically. It sometimes needs a nudge but it does happen.

COH has actually strengthened its playerbase in the last few months, and you can notice that THQ has been paying attention as their news page has been actively updated unlike a year ago.

There is no RTS out there that can touch COH both due to mod ability and just pure awesomeness.

To be fair that mod is a hassle in itself and I don't think you can combine that mod with another (without pro skillz)
