Ok, well yeah, pretty much all explosions are capable of instagibbing units. Riflegrenades, normal grenades, mortar shells. Pretty much direct hit= everyone dead.

Also the atmosphere is so much better and things seem more realistic, especially since there are new incap animations. Mortar direct hit on a conscript squad, limbs flying, some guys lying dead, and the dust settles and one guy is crawling on the ground trying to get away.

They need to do some work on the in game UI. The retical icons are too small, you dont get those pathing dots when you move units and you dont have the cover position dots when you hold-right click an infantry unit into directional cover.
That and anyone else notice that the Elephant is too fucking big? It's almost 3x as big as what it should be.

I have the cover position dots. And its a Ferdinand if im not mistaken, but yeah its big, but thats ok, it catches more artillery shells that way.

I get the cover dots, I don't get pathing lines.
Also, Alpha's are notorious for rudimentary UI so expect alot of changes in that regard.
I don't mind the Ferdi being bigger to symbolize it's a powerful unit. But that Pak 43 is the size of a P4

Units have never been correct size. Just look at the Marder III in COH.

Ok yes they are there, you just cant manipulate the dots so that the majority of them end up on the side of the cover that you want. They are just kinda placed sporatically around the piece of cover which leads my men to jumping over walls and cover dancing.

Yes, they need to fix that. It's ridiciuliously oversized. For the most part, aside from a few variances, the CoH units were oversized in general but in proprotion to each other, a few noticable cases being the Mardar, KT and sherman, of which they kept the proprotions somewhat correct this time around, except for the elephant which sticks out like a sore thumb.
