just played a game where one player had 2 jadgs
it was
allies:
Me (armor)
MistenTH (inf)
Nugx (armor)
vs
Axis:
Ick312 (defensive)
PanzerAssTox (terror)
GamblerEIRR (TD's
we killed a jadg early on when we captured an 88, 5 mins or so later another jadg apeared by the same person.
i would upload the replay but i have no clue how to

Edit: oh you mean unit caps in launcher, thought you meant ingame. This is possibly a bug then. Someone should check and see if this is the case with KTs as well.

The jagd doesn't have a cap because it was never possible to have enough fuel to afford both, UNTIL NOW !! "WHAHAHAHA

For the same reason that you get 2 Pershings, 2 Tigers or 3-4 Crocs.
Getting the heavy tanks means you don't NEED to spend any more fuel.
That company must have had a LOT of PzGrens though...

Sigh. The Heavy tank fills an entire gap in your company.
The Tigers, Pershings, Crocs, Panthers, etc all for the most part, fill a single full role and a workable secondary.
Tigers, Pershings and Crocs fill the role of AI. Pershings and Tigers do secondary hard AT to a degree with Crocs swatting off LV's.
This leaves the rest of your company to focus on hard AT and then whatever else you want on top.
Panthers fill the role of hard AT, and work as a fair secondary AI. Your company can go to town on AI while Panthers chew up the tanks, only needing to worry about a token amount of extra AT.
Therefore if you get two JP's, you've got an entire company you can pour into AI with one or two shrecks floating around, just in case - Two JP's will competently fuck up most enemy armour in solid hands.

The entire point of it is to have too much heavy for the enemy to handle. Once you have destroyed the enemies ATGs from the first jag you brought out, even if your first jag dies, your second one can continue to fight only infantry/tanks around. And those infantry most likely only have short range counters, meaning either they get sniped off by the jag or charge into range of your infantry(which are going to be geared for AI) to try to sticky/bazooka. The counter infantry to this would be AB in smoke though, which is the counter to many PE coys anyway.

Now where at the point of the game where Allied will lose game just by the fact that the Axis for you with heavy tank
spamm to bring out a shitload of ATG to get outcapped.
The last game I had the Axis cruised with their tanks around as they where M10's and as the most heavies were destroyed
we were sitting on our useless ATG's while a neverending wave of infantry pushed us back the our spawn.
