It doesn't seem to fit its role as a spearhead tank. I'm not sure what should be done about it, however.

Last few days used a lot dat heavy baby all i can say just make acc vs inf better all he needs, like regular tanks have, remove from vet table additional acc and just leave speed bonus

Always have found this tank to be effective, i have never understood what people mean when they say the KT is weak.

It has exceptional armour, exceptional HP, Great AT capabilities, good AI capabilities, good range, and bad maneuverability. It also comes with elite critcals which is now a nice buff instead of a shitty nerf. Incase you dont know, that basicly helps you - Not loose your engine(Yes it even works on stickies), not loose your topgunner, ect.

Don't see how others think it is too weak.

But regardless of what I think, I believe they said it is still getting a little buff.

a lot of peole try to solo it you dont use the king tiger to support your forces, you use your forces to support the King Tiger.

The KT is the only unit in the game that can happily roll up to a pair of ATG's, sit in front of them, destroy both, and then carry on with it's advance.

It has 2000 hitpoints. That's 3 and a third PIV's, just shy of 2 Tigers (1024 hp) or 5 M10's.

You grab your shit together, you slam it at the enemy, and it still stands at the end.

Anybody who starts backing it away because a single ATG is firing at it is using it very, very wrongly. Even if 2 ATG's pop AP rounds and you soak it all up you'll still have 1250 health left over. That's more than a Tiger left in health after taking 4 AP ATG rounds to the face (57mm AP Rounds lasts for 2 rounds of AP only, no matter how you time it with the reload cycle you won't get a 3rd round out).

After those rounds are fired it's back to having 0.35 penetration, no wait, 0.28 penetration (Tiger armour with 0.8 inc pen) for any more incoming rounds. That's without any range modifiers. At long range it's 0.238 and mid range it's 0.252. Short range is 0.35 due to the 1.25 close range modifier, but the 0.8 mod of the KT effectively negates it.

The KT just needs a little push in it's AI effectiveness. Be it main gun accuracy, top MG performance or any other potential ways is up for discussion... But if it does have a push in AI, it'll be a fearsome platform to behold. For now it's an armoured and durable brick on demand.

While the KT can take some serious shit, it needs help in the form of support. The KT can punch the initial hole, but it cant tear the line apart itself. Not unless your enemy is huffing glue that game.

Needs infantry accuracy, that is all it deserves to become a effective killer in a sense. It is however all apples in a one basket and with its speed it is painful to use.

Scumbag Speedy, invokes out of date statistics to put forward his own agenda.

Elite armour makes for 25% chance for no crit at green health, and 75% chance for damaged engine. At yellow, it's 15% no crit, 85% destroyed engine, with no chance for immobilisation. Standard armour is 50/50 for destroyed engine or immobilisation at yellow health, with 100% damaged engine at green.

Elite armour is nothing but buff now.

I think the KT does what it does well, but it's the type of unit that is only useful when you have good team mates. the whole team needs to get behind the KT and support it, you can't support it properly on it's own.

If anything I do think it could get a little boost in AI, but even a little too much will make it OP. maybe increase its splash, but lower it's damage a little bit?

i havent used it any time recent, how is it with the terror buffs? I figure the stug MG on top has to be pretty nice.

no it doesn't, there's no weapon over 40 range that can absolutely gank infantry and the TT has 45, if u give it higher infantry accuracy lmao it's a rolling battlefortress against all comers.

infantry is its main weakness, leave it be.

I heard that Hetzer and StuHs are pretty potent at killing infantry, both wielding range over 40 but I'm slightly unsure of the hetzer's potential, it does snipe infantry which is funny. I'm also rather curious because Jagdpanther is also pound to fire over 40 range and hit infantry with its main gun hm...peculiar case which makes me wonder if JagdTiger is good or not with its 45 range of anti infantry cannon of doom. Oh yes, lets not forget snipers and Leig's but you presumeably meant TANK Guns. We also have the GMC which is extraordinally potent at killing infantry with the range of 60... Also we had this thing called Panther which's anti-infantry potential was also dropped down.

I'm fairly sure if you put all eggs in one basket you are pound to have a battlefortress. Such is the case with Jagdpanther which is very potent in its role, Maus, and so would be the King Tiger.

Stug+Defensive officer top t3 is doing some justice, snipes infantry, owns the shit out of shermans, 3 games in a row that it gets atleast 3 tank kills and over 10 infantry kills, people underestimate das stug

i'm talking dual role. hetzer is mainly a tank hunter that snipes infantry but can't kill more than one at the same time, same with jagdpanther but stuh is not dual role, it's role is to kill infantry. The king tiger can take out 2-3 guys if it hits, theres no tank that has range higher than 40 that can take on both tanks and infantry like that.
