If you watch replay, or you don't watch them. Please post once and give a reason (or some reasons) why you watch or why you don't.

I'll start first. I generally don't like watching replays unless it is very good ones because I don't agree with their play style usually. It's just my personal taste. What about those who like to watch replays? Share why you do it.

For entertaining propurses. I rather like to watch a replay with a lot of action instead of playing a boring one. Everytime I face
a stomp replay or a boring one I quit watching it.

I have to say that this is a interesting question.

The very best player of one of the four factions.

Never really liked watching replays.
I only watched replays in the start in vcoh because I wanted to improve. I watched my own replays to analyze mistakes and watched good players play to learn the game.
Ill only like it if its a supergood game between 2 great players.

Oh and EIR replays are really shit imo. 99% rush n die. No nice flanks or tactical moves make it really boring.

I watch replays. It lets me sit there arm-chair general style and point out their every single micro or tactical mistake and chuckle to myself.

Then I'll go play a game and promptly derp all over the place.

But seriously, I do like watching most replays that come through. You never know when you'll stumble on something interesting.

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.
At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.

I like seeing the cool shit that happens in a replay that you wouldn't necessarily have time to watch while playing

I watch them at breaks between coding, or when Im really bored.

I prefer shoutcasts, cos then I get to listen to the action if I alt-tab to code.

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.

I just wish that DoW2 games didnt devolve into 'who can cap the fastest' games - they really fucked the gameplay imo.

replays are cool. But there are alot of replays full of brong shit tbh. Only ones with high quality of micro and flanking are awesome to watch. Also an important point is that both sides have their moments in the game. One sided pushes are boring.

A nice sideeffect of these high quality replays is that u can learn new strats and how u can use certain units to a high effectiveness.

well poppi, iam not sayin that every replay with good players is a good one.

and yes, a replay full of good players can also be meh and shit. Btw the 3v4 u are describing, was it against bearsoul and chaindivision? just asking...

it depends if the players have their moments, it has to include lots of action, it also includes push forward and backwards, overcoming defenses and enemies with nice strategies and creativity usw.

PS: show me the 3v4?
