Yes, because 25 pdrs are much cheaper and lower pop. But not the Priest.

SE players have to sacrifice a lot to get Incendiary Barrage Hummels. Meanwhile RCA has strong buffs and abilities for Infantry, Tanks, Mortars, ATGs and Officers while still maintaining the strongest artillery and off-maps in the game.

RCA has the strongest artillery in the game huh... Since when did RCA get Hummels? And Priests are pretty junk compared to getting 25's.

I'm talking about creeping barrage with cooldown reductions and buffs.

Creeping barrage is only really useful for it's initial hit capability.

After the first round has dropped, it's pretty easy to dodge. While you can choose where those first rounds drop, they are still subject to 25 pounder scatter for the area they are dropping in. It's entirely possible to miss a target (Though rare, admittedly) with the first round from a creeping.

If you get fucked up by a creeping barrage after it's first salvo though, it's your own fault for not getting up and moving.

Hummel rounds though are just plain old nasty business. Raw damage can shave off a third of a Pershing's health in one shot, and it does ridiculous things to Allied infantry with it's raw damage and splash area. That's without taking into account incendiary rounds.

Oh, and good luck taking out a Hummel with a vanilla Rifle squad. 25 Pounders, being emplacement armoured, can be killed by mere rifle fire.

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.
At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.

Creeping barrage can be used to large effect to kill support weapons, which is what the incendiary barrage is most effective against too. Infantry units can dodge the hummel also after the first shell, there is not a huge difference.

Are you not familiar with the unit called Priest? Also good luck taking out a 25 pdr with no AT weapons.

A 25/20 munitions Incendiary/AT grenade can take care of that once you've got it to 5% health, which is something you'll likely have on the squad anyhow.

Who the hell uses Priests?

There is no way that the hummel incendiary barrage being slightly better than creeping barrage can make up for all the buffs, abilities and off-maps that RCA gets. Also if I'm not mistaken, creeping barrage with doctrine buffs has half the cooldown of the hummel incendiary barrage. Can one incendiary barrage make up for two creeping barrages?

If that one Incendiary barrage lands on the 25 pounder and destroys it in one go?

Yup. It'll make up for two Creeping barrages.

Yes, that's a risk with the 25 pdr because it's cheaper, lower pop, lower cooldown and better veterancy.

So the few games you play against hummels, just bring a priest, problem solved.
