At 295 Manpower 60 Munitions it's too cheap for it's performance.

Compared to the Leig it's cheaper (Leig is at 360 MP 100 MU), it requires no micromanagement, it's effective against a wider category of units (most vehicles), it costs less pop (Leig is 5 pop, Bofors is 4 pop) and is a T1 unlock compared to Leig (T3).

Gameplay-wise it should be made into a semi-mobile unit like the 17 pounder.

You don't see Defensive players running 10 MG bunkers or 10 Leigs, yet that's the norm for most RE companies, to use it as a mainline unit and it's just not balanced or good for gameplay due to said reason, being cheap, deadly and requiring very little or no management to succeed.

Sharks are not monsters Henley, they are cute, cuddly and misunderstood. They love humans. sometimes they love TOO much. They love people so much that sometimes their kisses separate people into two flailing pieces which are consumed by other sharks in a frenzy of peace and joy.

I'd be down for a price increase if it was mobile, but it isn't mobile, and it's easy to arty. And please post a replay of someone using more than 3, because I haven't seen anyone use more than that, so it's hard to imagine it being a bit OP.

Also not sure if you can really compare it to the leig? but I guess it's the closest unit to it.

I never said it was OP, I said it was too cheap at 60 MU. It's much better than a Leig or MG bunker.

The bofors is largely a psychological warfare unit that for some reason gets people to stop coming to a sector for no good reason. Unless they're PE with nothing but armored cars in their company. Then it's kind of understandable that the bofors would be scary. But otherwise? Don't really think the bofors is that great.

same, i only field one in my RE company, sometimes I consider getting two, but then too often my single bofors will get no kills and I'll think that 60 mu is better spent towards a bren.

60 MU is what MG nests costs and it's much better.

MG nests do not cost 295 manpower, 4 popcap (IMO popcap >>> actual cost unless in extreme circumstances) and do not fail miserably at taking on more than 1 enemy squad.

new to using bofors. I dont find their anti inf ability all that impressive. too many times enemy inf just walks straight up to it. not taking much damage.

you need an mg in a trench near the bofors, the combo is incredibly deadly, with an atg next to the whole thing, it's a great doom fort, just have to watch out for arty.

Bofors deal their AI damage at max range. Should the enemy close in, you won't hit shit when aiming at infantry.

They key is to keep the infantry in the max range zone if you want to kill them with a Bofors. Ideally, you should just bring something else though, Bofors only really excel at tearing apart LV's.

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.
At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.

bofors is increadably deadly.  Its weakness is its reload time.  I played against 2 or 3 of them and at times it felt a little bullshit.  i had to use 3 otchkiss stukas and 2 double shreck falls to kill one off.  It took the hotchkiss to near death, killing its main gun, and killed off 2 guys before i was able to kill it.

i would say a pop cap to 5 is worth it.  Not a huge change but enough.  it its deadly strong and much similar to an 88.  If you get in its range it has the opportunity to be deadly.  If you do,t it is area denial.

I would like to see hold fire on the bofors and 88 tho.  So that way peopel can get close enough before you begin to unload on them.

the reasoning for a pop cap increase, Pe are shreded by it, the only thing that won;t be is a panther and a front facing p4ist.  Wher, only their stug and up.  ostwin will take penetrating shots i think.  So it has a very wide variety.

i cant really blame smokaz i mean playing against puddin is like trying to fight off breast cancer. You might win and do it and be a bad ass but you'll feel sick and mutilated forever.

Puddin' spamtm is soulcrushing... what's hard to understand about that?
