I had become re-interested in this game after reading an article in maximum PC. But man, just looking at a couple of posts and things about the game, I feel back for anyone who has bought it. I mean, it's only $13, but I think I'm just going to wait for DayZ to come out, because they already have a product that I've only heard good things about. And I feel it's much more trustworthy.

It's trash and it's bound to die several months from now. Heck, this steam sale pretty much shows how desperate they've gotten.
Also yes, Day Z standalone is going to be pretty awesome and a way better bang for your buck. It's bound to come out real soon.

That's a load of horseshit. The only thing he did was sell his licensed engine to a game developer who then released the game in pre-alpha.

But yeah, WarZ sucks, is it better than DayZ in some aspects? Yes, does it have terrible flaws just like DayZ? Yes.

On the other hand, while it's not really the best way to put it he's right.

He is right about spreading the message about how the mods behave. That's it, he's 100% wrong about his "rights" and the 1st amendment.

When people see one of the many videos/posts/whatever about this they wont buy the game and this is how it's going to come back and bite the developer/publisher in the ass. These mods is one of the greatest reasons why I am not going to buy this game and there are most certainly others like me. But even so the costumers don't have any rights what so ever when it comes to that forum (or forums in general for that matter).

I was mildly interested in War Z considering I quite liked Day Z.

War Z was gonna have a much sooner release date so I thought meh, I'll end up checking it out one of the days when I need a fresh post-apocalypse fix.

Then, I saw this shit storm. Nuh-uh. I can wait until Day Z goes stand alone, at least I'll know what I'll be paying for.
