Airburst was fine. I say we bring back spare magz, assymetric warfare and airburst mortars.

AB needs buffs hohohoho

Basicly, if mortar hit infantry that is not full HP (which means it fought at least once), it has 50% chance to instantly kill it. That's too easy to kill, especially with AB mortar range of fire.

Actually it is funny, because if target is on yellow HP and mortar just poke it a little, it will die horrible death probably Grin

Thank you Mister Hicks Smiley

This is literally how it has ALWAYS been with how mortars work.

The fact that you're preaching this like it's some new revelation and advocation for nerfage makes me want to headbutt a wall.

Or make you headbutt a wall on my behalf.

AB has some serious shit wrong with it (I'm looking at you, increased range RR's), but mortars being the same old mortars they've always been is not one of them.

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.
At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.

The deal is with bonus range and because it is so hard to kill it (20% with middle t4 and AB armor).

Also when it comes to RRs. Yes they are bullshit as hell, but I thought they removed the range bonus. Looks like they didn't. These RRs can outrange any axis tank with ground target (overshooting) and that's pretty much retarded imo. Smiley

That isnt a problem with the mortar, that is an issue of the doctrine itself. Asking for reduced damage on the mortar nerfs the mortar for every other doctrine. The AB doctrine itself needs a nerf, not the mortar.

ab armour buffs only apply otm, if a mortars moving it's useless if it's sitting still it's vulnerable to counter fire, especially given that the whet 80mm outranges it from the get go.

AB mortars have always had ab armour(I think). We are referring to the +20% health, +20% range given by the mid t4. Combine that with the -10% rec. dmg. in cover from the t1. But, again, that effects all AB units, not just mortars. The entire doctrine is out of whack.

AB armor acts as soldier armor (-25% rec. dmg. from most sources) when stationary, but you get the added benefit of -25% rec. acc. when moving. Elite armor is so fancy because you get both at the same time, even when stationary.

Vs. grenades and flames, you burn like matchwood however.

If not, then I wipe, then someone gets something they shouldn't, then it gets abused, then the shit hits the fan and then I ban shab.
