Cromwell stats?

I'm not sure if anybody else has noticed, and if they have, have cared to shout up about it...
But the Cromwell tank (Standard), has 1 to infantry, 3 to light armour, 1 to heavy armour and either 3/4 to structures.
My question is, is the Cromwell SUPPOSED to show these stats, and if so, do the displayed stats have any bearing on the tanks performance?
I'd show a screenshot but i'm about to go to bed. I thought i'd post about it before i forgot in the morning.
Feel free to lock/delete/burn eeeeet in the case of this being a known and already resolved issue.

The in game stats are just a suggestion on how you should use your units; they don't represent the actual damage of the unit.

In other words, if you want to know what the cromwell's gun is like, you look here...Of course, it won't mean much to you until you've looked at most of the guns in the game

I noticed it a while ago - it's a bug, retail wasn't like it, and it was either introduced by Relic mistakenly or by EiR mistakenly at some point or another after EiRR released.

yeah, the numbers never really made any sense to me unless im trying to identify what type of gun an infantry unit has (like ifa ranger or gren has at and ai weapons)

kill 6 dudes in 1 shot, so if you have gren, 1 shot should kill all of them... if you have say a 3 man kch, motar or hmg, 1 shot will kill that guy and any other kch, motar or hmg on the field, even if they are not in the same area... its whats makes the QF guns so great.

Sherman is still better AI. Cromwell by itself is the worst medium tank in the game. It has terrible moving accuracy, armor, penetration, etc.
With command tank its really good against infantry however, as you can kite with it easilly.

Exactly - the moving accuracy is just retardedly low, and even when you stop, at long range the cromwell just can't hit the enemy infantry. And you're not gonna get too close - panzershreks being rather good at medium range and all that... I love flankspeeding and crushing, especialy from around a hedge ^^, but I never rely on the cromwell's gun to take on anything smaller than a P4 - it just won't hit it properly. Amazing penetration, though.

the cromwell has an better splash than the sherman
his moving accuracy is not that good but the same is for some axis tanks like tiger tiger ace kingtiger and stuff
the cromwell always raped infantry u just using it wrong

It is indeed a better medium tank (sherman) but the thing is that the cromwell will always be better to take out infantry without risking it... because you don´t need a jeep to spot for the cromwell, just the upgrade... and it´s also a good counter against the PE thanks to overdrive (it can pretty much negate an engine damage with it).
And yeah with the CCT it becomes a very powerfull tank.

It does hits a lot, and schcrecks at max range just can´t shoot it, they don´t have enough range.

Cromwell splash: 3/1.25/0.75. Accuracy modifier vs infantry: 0.65
76mm splash: 3.3/1.5/0.75. Accuracy modifier vs infantry: 0.75
What does king tigers have to do with
medium tanks
? I said cromwell by itself is the worst medium tank in the game, because thats fucking true. It has the worst penetration, worst armor, mediocre anti-infantry, and shitty accuracy on the move. Both PIV and sherman has .75 accuracy modifier on the move, but cromwell has .5.
Tanks should always be kiting infantry. A cromwell on the move against infantry has .65*.75*.5=24.3% chance to hit. Thats right, one in four shots will hit at long range against infantry while the cromwell is moving. By itself the 5 range is not enough for the cromwell to stop while kiting shreks. If you stop to negate the moving accuracy, you will get hit by shreks.
By contrast, a sherman on the move against infantry is .75*.75*.75=42.2% chance to hit. A much higher chance, instead of one in four shots, its almost one in two shots.
With the command tank(especially at vet 2), the cromwell gets 42.5/45 range and comparable sight with tank commander. At this range the cromwell can comfortably stop to fire when kiting shreks. Which is why I said its awesome with command tank. But command tank costs quite a bit more, so obviously it should be good.
As usual, bigdick is wrong.
