Crocs haven't been changed since old eir, but we're looking into medkits and how to make them more suitable for EiRR.

Well the crocs killing is based on chance to crit.. medkits hardly save infantry from this, Medkits were being addressed before this issue.

Agreed. The triage is something many many allied players neglect.

Medkits are useful for exactly this reason. The flamethrower itself does very minimal damage, and the chance to crit at high HP is very low compared to mid or low HP.

By using medkits you can counteract the damage of the flamethrower, thereby keeping the crit chance very low, because the instant you hit yellow health with a gren, you have something like a 40-60% death chance, and red is like a 90% death chance.

I'm not so sure crocs need a buff, granted I don't use them/see them used much.  I think the 'problem' if any is their ill suited vet and could *possibly* use a range buff.

The reason I'm so iffy about buffing the croc is I've seen what the flamer churchill can do, that thing is a *beast*.

Well, churchcroc is a lot better than the m4a3 croc. It's got two main advantages:

(1) Much better armour/hp (it's a churchill, that's what they pride themselves on)
(2) Weapons besides flamethrower (allows decent damage to light vehicles and to help weaken for crits as male pointed out)

these significantly improve it's performance over the m4a3 croc.

Is Akranadas in this thread? Fucker can't stop bragging about his "waifu taldeer" and cosplaying in an eldar farseer costume while shouting "Flithy monkeighs!" interspaced with random eldar gibberish.

Sherman croc's advantage is maneuverability and speed.

Crocodile (1.0)
-Vet1 Received Damage 0.85
-Vet2 Speed 1.1, Accuracy 1.15, Received Damage 0.9
-Vet3 Damage 1.2, Turret Rotation 1.2

A Range increase might be in order instead of Accuracy @ vet2.

I think the issue is much more with medikits than with Crocodyles.

Eh, I still thought they had a penetration increase at vet 2 or something, lol.

I agree, Bubz. But after looking it over, an accuracy buff at vet 2 is pretty worthless for a Sherman Croc. It has a 90% chance at all ranges.. 15% more chance on a weapon that has no reload is silly.

agreed with bubz, but id like to see the range increase at vet 2 still since accuracy does nothing.

Used to have a range buff, or we were going to give it a range buff anyway but it looks kind of buggy tbh.

I thought the issue was that its a suicide vehicle that you can only get 1 of....I could be wrong. Combine it with another unit to cause damage, then get the crits with the Croc.

Other than that, its your only unit besides a Pershing that can heavy crush.
