Huh? It penetrates frontally even vs a STuG. I used a pair with my RCA to destroy 2 STuGs, a pile of infantry, and then run away...without Canister.

It takes micro, so thus its useless. Nevermind i always have at least 4 in a coy to catch and destroy retreating panthers so they don't repair and return

Stuart ppppppwns PE vehicles. It can still hit infantry, and it can just instawtfpwn infantry with canister shot (which I think is OP >.<)

Just played a game with them, best counter was a IST >.<

uggh, that was annoying.. they had tons of them things, not sure how many we killed.. but alot..  althought i did enjoy the ultimate slaughter of FF, Stuart and a blob of LTs and Brens and Piats in middle of field towards end.. at that point i thought we had a good shot, but they had more.

1 shot of canister for 70 muni is not OP, its just decent generally the attrition isn't worth the cost. The 15% increased rate of fire on commando stuart is sexy

Yeah at long range too, IDK if its just so much more effective my low men moderate HP armoured dudes, but that seriously is powerful. Nades you get 2 for half the price, but they have less area of effect, not as far range, actualy require micro to use, and most importantly you can actualy dodge them.

At max range that stuarts canister is instawtfpwning my fallschimjaegers, while still being perfect VS my marders and 50mm, and being a small threat VS my tanks too.

it needs to do less damage at longer range imo so you ave to either be stupid and charge at it to endbadly or let it charge at you

Yeah calbanes, I mean - some people like smokaz are still yet to win a single game, even though they've been around here for years.

It's more effective at longer rangers, that way it can hit more targets.

If a shotgun didn't rapidly lose it's velocity over long distances... Then effectively, it WOULD become more lethal to groups over range.

I need to check up on what a canister round fires...

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.
At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.

Which is not a Canister shot....

Canister shot dates way back, it functions just like a shotgun firing shot.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cgn1nhUEgo8. Here a video of an abram firing a canister shot. The point of the canister shot from tanks is to blanket an area with pellets.

With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine. However, this is not necessarily a good idea. It is hard to be sure where they are going to land, and it could be dangerous sitting under them as they fly overhead. -- RFC 1925

So is it agread there will be a nerf to its damage on how far it shoots? So I can stop loosing a whole squad from 1 blast at long range?

An Abrams has a longer barrelled 120mm smoothbore cannon; the Stuart has a 37mm stumpy gun.

That's like the difference between a .38 firing shot and a 12 guage firing shot.
