nice work to everyone working on this! good to see some life breathed back into this, for a while i think it was just mister schmitt, myself, and just a couple others really working on it.

Honestly before anyone would continue with the Expansion of the EIR wikia i think it would be a better idea to talk to the guys at OMG for the source code for their OMG  wiki, for working with it and Adding some stuff for them i noticed its wonderfully done and even better it allows for a lot more space to modify the look of things compared to the cramped and limited Wikia.
Another thing is that unlike OMG mod the Editors would be freely be able to add stuff from the RGDs instead of having to ask a dev for every minor detail.

luck not needed, The Wiki layout is allready an open source progam and making an independent EIR wiki would be easy, all that would be needed is a server to host on and some editors that would be willing to help.
Only reason why i would think to ask the OMG devs(mostly just Doink) was so It woulnt be needed to Code all the shit again like the mega tables and layouts for the Shoutcast site.

I'd love to see things like;
-The details of the effects of range on the Firefly
-The effects of the aura for all the officers
-Things like "Stug great frontal armor but low health"
-Details about the various infantry armor effects

These are all things that are really helpful to know and a lot of the community seems to have a pretty good idea of but are things that aren't particularly easy to find (and I don't know most of them)

Also for ATGs saying their penetration and such would be useful as it could really help with understanding what situations a 17pdr is really useful in or when a 36mm is worthwhile or even how a 6pdr compares to a 57mm.

I really like seeing that there is an organized place for this info and I look forward to seeing more information on there.

Tbf, standard EiRR doctrine is if you can't find it yourself, ask on the forums.

Learning how to use Corsix gives you a major leg up in EiRR though, as you'll have access to all of the game statistics.

Thats true hicks but it still isnt perfect, Having a proper wiki that isnt that shitty wikia would be perfect if EIR would go into Coh2 and would ease newbs to learn things about units instead of having to ask everyone about everything.

Just take a look at This and Check it out, its fully accurate and enables instead of having to check the RGDs for every small thing they can just check this and know what you were looking for, also makes it simple for newbs so they dont have to ask everyone else.

The problem is this: the free Wikia website thing sucks. If EIR is gonna have anything similar it needs to be a real wiki website.

Its free and open source and its what the OMG wiki runs on.

Only thing i would need would be a stable server to run on and i could then Build it up with some assistance from someone that can texture some shit.

Why are you talking about merits of platforms for wiki, when only important thing is to have quick, fast, structured  information about game/units/etc available?

Me and new players could not care less if the 0 and 1 in the background are carried by dwarfs or there are ads all over the place.
As long as players can access information (CONTENT) quick  in centralized place, it will be supercool. You can fill in the CONTENT in whichever shitty template later.

Or you would like to spend weeks setting up wiki, everything only to find  out the place is abandoned.

Hey fraggers, the Wikia wiki layout sucks so if you are intrested in putting up a wiki for EIR use MediaWiki.
I was able to put one up as a server on my computer with some issues but if you find a stable server i can add all the templets i have made to it.
Was even almost done putting up a halfassed megatable before shit went south and lost most of the data.
