u have to fill the beer up close to the "Eichstrich" and the rest of glass have to be froth (and if possible a bit outside the glass)

Sharks are not monsters Henley, they are cute, cuddly and misunderstood. They love humans. sometimes they love TOO much. They love people so much that sometimes their kisses separate people into two flailing pieces which are consumed by other sharks in a frenzy of peace and joy.

I make my own beer, I make my own wine, and soon going to make my own shine! I love all things that get you drunk while tasting amazing. I really like 10 Cane and Clement Rhum rum, those are good. Wild Turkey American Honey whiskey is pretty good stuff too. 8th rifle recommended Russian Standard Vodka which is amazing and only $19 dollars! For the beers you can never go wrong with anything Samuel Adams, Guinness, or Dew Claw which is a local brewery/restaurant and Pub Dog which again is another brewery/restaurant. If I'm looking to get drunk I make some rocket fuel 18% alcohol whine that tastes like cool aid or I grab some Miller Light and pound me down some beers. Plus you can never leave out Jager bombs when you want to become totally retarded for the evening, with cocaine like energy.

Fosters really has to stop using Australians as a selling point for Fosters. Come to Australia and ask for a foster, you'll be met with a wtf.

When it's £2.10 for a pint of Fosters, and £3.20 for a pint of Guinness... Cat piss all the way.

Thinking that all Aussies drink fosters is the same as thinking all Americans drink coors, PBR, or bud. There are hundreds, probably thousands of microbreweries in the US and many of them are amazing. In fact the last city I lived in probably had about 4-5 breweries in a 100 mile radius. Trust me if you have something like Ommegang, Southern Tier, or Brooklyn you'll realize there's a whole hell of a lot more to American Beer than you'd think.

Jodomar where do you live? I want to come out and get me some moonshine!

On the foam topic I don't like more than an inch on my beer.

Also some people are missing the point, I specifically used the term what do you drink "with out the soul purpose of getting drunk" because I don't care what people drink to get drunk, people will drink cat piss and rubbing alcohol to get drunk. But I like to know what kind of stuff people ENJOY.

Also I don't find a lot of absinthe drinkers. im not a fan of anise flavor so I've never really taken to it.

For me, beer is beer. It's the situation that can make me enjoy it, or have it as a tool to get drunk with.

If I'm at the pub socialising, it's a simple tool.

If I've had a 12 hour day from 6 in the morning 'till 6 in the afternoon, it's been swelteringly hot and I haven't had a single damned break with every bloody thing that can go wrong, has done... Even a humble pint of ice cold Fosters can seem like a god-send.

My all time favourite alcohol though probably stands at Guinness Draught, fresh from the barrel and ice cold. I would kill to go to Ireland and have a properly made pint of the stuff.

Nothing special

Each person has different tastes, either agree or disagree but don't try to shoot down a mans preference.

my 2 favourites the first one is also a local brewery about 10 min from my house which makes it all the better Cheesy

And yes, the froth to beer ratio needs to be something like that. So that it looks like real beer and not like apple juice.

Added a poll about beer head/froth.

I had no idea people were so concerned with it so much and what was proper/improper amount. I'm going to assume it depends on where you live or maybe what kind of beer you drink. I think I'm going to read up on it I'm so interested.

The only reason I like less froth is because I like having more beer in my glass.

Also Schmidt, people value things differently. Just because you don't/didn't think too much of getting a fresh properly made pint of Guinness in Ireland, doesn't mean I particularly wont.

Beer is probably one of the most complex forms of alcohol out there. There literally is a science to having the perfect beer to every dinner (that science of course is entirely personal, while certain beers generally go with various foods, it really is up to you Smiley )

Well Ricky I live on the east coast of the USA. I would say it depends on your beer how much froth you want on it. For instance I don't want a lot when I'm drinking a basic domestic beer such as miller light but when drinking Guinness I want a healthy amount. Beer is a very delicate thing but so is every other form of alcohol. The slights thing can change the flavor all the way down too what minerals are in the water you use to make it.
