Usually when I'm drunk, or in the process of becoming drunk.

There's not too much at the moment to bring me here sober tbh.

That, or I *Really* have nothing better to do.

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.
At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.

First off, java fucking sucks, I had a great answer well written out, then it updated and closed and erased everything I had just wrote.

Anyways, EIRR gets rid of all the BS I hate about RTS games, base building and building upgrades and all that boring frustrating crap. Plus it's WWII which has a certain magic and allure that I've always loved. Plus coh just has unique unit design, where you build squads, not single units (at least it's the first rts i came across that does this). Then on top of all that stuff put persistency where I can see my units and company get better each game. It makes for such a great experience.

the reason i keep coming back is there are just so many combinations to try. im probably addicted to say the least as well. i feel like im accomplishing something getting better at my micro. it's like playing a really great game of chess. no other game pulls me back like eirr, though... im sure once i get BF3 all settled in on my desktop that will keep me coming back. oh yeah and it helps that EIRR runs great on my laptop!

I agree with this, probably the main reason for me too, it's like 1 of 3 games installed on my laptop, it's easy to play and everything, but it takes up so much fucking space!

pretty much what riki said

No building buildings, pure strategy.... mixed with unbalanced units and factions.

I like Men of War series, but seems units lack the personality that COH has. A little unrealistic gameplay adds characteristic to units. In MoW a 4 man unit would not be able to run through 20 infantry and kill them and a tank wont have to take 20-30 shots to kill. So to me it almost doesnt matter what unit you choose you can 1-2 shot anything. Still a great game that involves more strategy than COH.
Just wished EIR did more patches and updates more often. When something is broken or needs adjusting *airborne*, it takes forever.
Plus persistency  is cool

Now bear makes his own funny thread. It's unsurprisingly not funny.

the potential and there's nothing else like it out there.

I love the strategy and the fun of it. no two games play the same.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.
