What kind of armor is on the 95mm crom? I just played a game and I noticed my 95mm crom took A LOT of damage from just one shrek... and this squad had two. and some how (partially through some bad accuracy rolls with the crom) but the double shrek squad was able to kill my crom and only went down to 2 guys. Was just frustrating because something that is supposed dedicated AI for whatever reason couldnt handle one shrek squad at medium range. Might have been a coincidence but I just wanna confirm armor type. And if anyone has the time figure out what shrek penetration chance to front armor is. Thanks  |

I dont think the problem is the armor, the problem is that you figured anything could tank shrecks... Hell, people retreat pershings away (To long range), what makes you think a crom would stand up to them? As for chance to penetrate... The answer is "It will"  |

And cromwell armour is rather weak. Remember that.
At least 95mm croms are cheap and fast to make up for their defensive deficiencies.

It's a cromwell with a 95mm gun, thats it.
its actually slower than a normal comrwell, dunno where u got 95mm's are cheap and fast.
crom is 5.2 2.7 & 5
95mm is 5.0 2.2 & 4.4
speed, accel & decel

Dunno where u got a brain lol. Just because its slower than a normal crom doesnt mean it isn't fast, and its also 180 fuel, so yeah its pretty damn cheap. |

they're very hit and miss. because of their gun accuracy, they can actually "hit" a target and the target takes no damage, especially if they're in yellow cover, can be really annoying. I once had a single man with a schreck dmg engine a full health 95mm because it was sitting in yellow cover and the thing couldn't hit it until after 4-5 shots and it had to be a direct hit, no splash.

That's how crap Cromwell armour is. Anything on at least a medium tank or AT dedicated platform WILL penetrate it reliably. Use speed, environment and circumstance as your armour.

actually ostwind armor can still bounce off zooks and churchill 6pdr shells. the only thing that bounces off cromwell armor is the hotchkiss and 50mm puma lol. cromwell armor has some received accuracy buffs tho. but they never seem to do anything. |

Yea I don't think I have an actual memory where a shot on one of my croms (95 or Vanilla) that didnt make contact... but thats probably just luck. my game with my 95s is improving |
