Hi, guys,

I'm a newcomer. Adiya, maybe someone knows him, a famous modeller and skinner, and some other famous Chinses players have introduced this mod to Chinese COH community. He said this is the best MP mod of COH, but lacking of Chinese language support make this mod quite unknown for most Chinese players.

I'm interested in this mod although I'm a noob in gameplay, but not in translation. If EIR needs Chinese translator for the ucs file and launcher, I think I can do something.

Someone should hook you up immediately. We would want Chinese players to enjoy and play this mod.

I would not count on a launcher language option for chinese being implemented fast, but having some kind of translation for them should be very doable.

Perhaps we would get a influx of chinese players! 亦作!

     This is a misunderstanding. In Chinese this sentence is "不可胜者，守也；可胜者，攻也"， means " if you only defend, you won't win. If you want to achieve victory, you should attack".

     This is a misunderstanding. In Chinese this sentence is "不可胜者，守也；可胜者，攻也"， means " if you only defend, you won't win. If you want to achieve victory, you should attack".

I will bring this up in the dev team lobby, easy fix anyway.

For now: go to C:\Program Files (x86)\THQ\Company of Heroes\EIRRLauncher
and use EIRRLauncher.exe to run the game. Don't run autoupdater.exe
that way your edited files won't be replaced

Anyway, I think if you replace the English files with your TradChinese ones (ie. rename the chinese version into "English...." then you should be able to atleast test it. Right?

I have a baaad feeeling about this.

If I could look into future I could see Chinese and Koreans overtake the mod and chat would be simply spammed in Chinese and it'd be a multitude disaster...If that'd happen I'd quit EIRR.

Language filter tbh. Have a check box which filters out EU and Asian characters respectively.

Or, separate chat tabs in the launcher.

Having the Chinese and the Koreans come along sounds cool to me... Just gotta be sensible about it.

How about you learn Chinese then?

1.because english and Chinese are equally difficult to learn
2. it's probably better to know Chinese than English...  ...Because,yea,wherever I go in World(yea,I dont have need to go to some 3rd world country where they dont have water and electricity,and where each tribe has it's own dialect),Chinese is most spoken language in which,more or less,everyone(Europe and America) can communicate.
3. EiRR is in Chinese,right? So I have another reason to learn it.
