You can't compare cloak while moving on Storms/Sniper with the Commando cloak or the AB support team cloak.
Espacially the Airbornes can only cloak in cover and it has a nasty delay time.

i dont even want moving cloak for allies, it's not their thing.
Brits cloak in cover
Americans cloak anywhere but dont move.
Axis cloak while moving
PE do a bit of all but dont excel at any of it.
thats how i'd prefer it. Each faction needs to have a set theme and stick to it.
Mirroring lends to boring gameplay.

id just say buff mando cloak so the cloak lasts longer, then you haveing a unit moving cloaked but it is on a timer and there for isnt always happening, also a doc buff for ab that allows them to cloak anywhere without moving,
this way every faction has cloaking stuff but its not to mutch that can cloak and its only really elite inf cloaking at all: falls, ab, mandos, stormies

the only thing id really love to see for allies is standard multi role infantry like axis. axis has volks for recrew, with mp40s and faust, then grens with shreck and lmgs, then kch with faust and mp44s.
we have rifles with stickys and bars. we have to pay for AB, shotgun engs, and AB.

Besides even then they have different uses, sprint is just to get places faster, Fire up breaks suppression and I always figured that was it's main value, no?
Put it this way, would you like if it KCH could sprint and break supression?

So an investment of 50-60 Munitions isn't a penalty? How about the one time use? How about the fact that if you throw the grenades you're pretty much boned? Or that all the grenades hit the same 1x1 tile.
Comparing 2 similar abilities doesn't always work out. Most of the fireup uses in EiR are for escape purposes. In which case you hardly notice the after effects. The times that you did use it in combat you usually achieve your goals for using Fireup. and should be seated firmly in a piece of cover. The penalty is to movement and damage output. Both of which should be covered by using Fireup and a Grenade. or Fireup and superior positioning.
