It's still a remarkably powerful buff. The damage increase is still pretty mean against the heavier armour and if you couple the penetration with lockdown, it becomes quite reliable.
It's more for turning Panthers into Pershing hunters though tbh.

I honestly think that the only reason you'd go for APCR in the first place is the increased critical shots. Sometimes 5% bug favors your enemy more than you want it to. |
