The very best player of one of the four factions.

I personally use the Commander vs inf, and put him inside vs tanks.

The Panther is much better vs jumbo yes.

stats

Jumbo WITH T4 AT BUFF (which nerfs AI)
hp 736
weapon:
dmg 87.5
pen 0.838 x 0.4513 = 0.378 (long range)
reload 6s

needs 32.15 shots to kill tiger - 192.92s

Tiger WITHOUT BUFFS
hp 1064
weapon:
dmg 137.5 x 0.9 = 123.75
pen 0.835 x 0.5231 = 0.437  (long range)
reload 6s

needs 13.61 shots to kill jumbo - 81.66s

Killing a 76mm jumbo with the unbuffed tiger will cause the tiger to lose 42% of its HP. On average.
The tiger costs 45% more fuel than jumbo and 19% more manpower

Accuracy not calculated, basically impossible to do with scatter & tank hitboxes. most "misses" will still hit because of big tank hitboxes. Tiger is more likely to "miss" jumbo tho, especially when moving.
Lets say ALL of the tiger "misses" will really miss too:
accuracy L 0.75
needs 18.15 shots to kill jumbo - 108.88s
Tiger will lose 56% of its HP in this case.

btw...and yes i know gameplay > realism but realistically the sherman had thicker armor than the tiger.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M4_Sherman

Quote
The M4A3E2 Sherman Jumbo variant had even thicker frontal armor than the Tiger I, with a totally flat sloped glacis plate, having no protrusions from the forward crew hatchways which the original M4 designs possessed and a thicker welded mantlet for the main gun

it had 100-150mm thick frontal armor and it was sloped, wild the Tiger I was generally about 100-120mm and flat fronted, which is easier to penetrate.

Last time I checked the Tiger had 100mm front, with 80mm on it's sides and arse.

Jumbo had about 152mm frontal, with standard Sherman sides and arse. Can't remember sides and arse off the top of my head.

Jumbo WITH T4 AT BUFF (which nerfs AI)

Standard Jumbo/Sherman splash is 0.25 short, 1 medium, 3 long. Upgunned Jumbo/Sherman is 0.25 short, 1 medium, 1.5 long. The only difference between upgunning and staying at 75mm is going from 3 long range splash to 1.5 long range splash. I'd hardly qualify that as nerfing AI, considering most tank guns (Sherman included) do the majority of their damage in the short and medium range splash areas.

I'd happily say that upgunning has no perceptible drawbacks.

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.
At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.

Your epic post had already been covered lol. It'd been established already that the Tiger significantly beats down the Upgunned Jumbo, Riki just had some bad luck/circumstances.

Leo. Jumbo wont miss Tiger. Ever. it has 1.35 accuracy multiplier which means it has 100% accuracy vs Tiger at any range and at any angle. Only Tiger has a chance to miss it at long range due to 75% accuracy.

Tiger will shoot at the ground instead of the target while moving at point blank range.

I can believe anything here in EIR. Yesterday, vet1 bofors was steadily slicing little bits of health from my jagdpanther frontally, like seriously lol wtf?

is this normal, or there are some engine anomalies in COH?

several times i have seen bounce marders from LVs and such...

It's called luck, it's in every game which has dice rolling mechanics (which is every game, just it is more apparent in certain games with more differing percentages). If there is the slightest chance of something happening there is a chance that in a match it will happen all the time (as it is random, and there is no code to tell it that it can't). So if something has a 1% chance to penetrate, there is a 0.00000000000000000001% chance that it will happen 10 times in a row. That's not very likely, but 1 in every 1e+22 games (or 1x10^22 or 10000000000000000000000) will see it happen. However, due to randomness it could happen every game, or 1 in every 9e+99 games. Now, it should be around 1 in every 1e+22 games, but might not be due to randomness. It's extremely unlikely that it would happen every game, but there is a chance, and randomness doesn't give a crap that it maybe a small chance (randomness is independent of chance; however if chance is 0% then it will never happen, randomness can't change that cos it is not a possible outcome, just like flipping a coin doesn't have an outcome of it raining fish), which is why it is possible to flip a perfect coin 1000000 times and always get heads.

So it isn't anything to do with engine anomalies, just chance and randomness, real life things (Bofos' have a small penetration chance).

Though some game engines may program it so something can't happen twice in a row. Limiters to the extent of chance and randomness, Coh does not have these.

it can happen random. i got confused after half of that wall %s

Might have pointed her at the RGD's once.

Anything else is off her own back.

Also, 16 is legal in the UK. :p
