i think medium tanks shouldn't out range heavy tanks with bigger guns, tell me which allied  medium tank outrange pershing.

Reward units r exceptions, as allies have more units that r more mobile medium tanks .

Medium tanks dont outrange heavy tanks.
M10 IS NOT A MEDIUM TANK, IT IS A TANK DESTROYER.
it has less HP then all mediums, and far less armor.
It makes these short comings up bu having more speed and slightly more range then its intended targets.

And IIRC the only tanks to outrange the Pershing would be CCT range buffed British mediums like the FF,Cromwell

I don't want to argue about balance coz i am not good with numbers and stats but wat i want to say is that ,wat hicks did with tiger and pershing was awesome coz that made the opponent feel the presence of the heavy tanks, but now if u see a heavy tabks lets send 2 m10 job done.

In other words i would like to see those changes back.

Gork, What you are seeing is the opponent using the appropriate counter to your heavy tanks. They are sending dedicated tank destroyers to kill your heavy tank. What did you want them to send; Cookies & Ice cream?

Those dedicated Tank Destroyers are weak as fuck and die to anything bigger then a fart. The allies need to get those tank destroyers past everything else on the field to get to your Heavy tank.

CCT doesn't increase range. Firefly has base range far better than a pershing.

I'm hoping I'm just missing out on some context here, because the alternative is that you of all people don't realise that the CCT gives +2.5 range to the units it is buffing, and a further +2.5 range at vet 2.

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.
At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.

Cmon wind your better then that.

FF base range is 55, CCT buff it goes to 57.5

Cromwell Range is 40, CCT buff it goes to 42.5

Throw Vet 2 in and youve got ATG range FF and KT range cromwells.

I had thought that the range buff had been removed in EiR?

If not, I'm wrong and owe you an apology.

With that being said, surely you don't feel that the Firefly without a CCT has the same or worse range than the pershing?

Still, the point you made isn't accurate. The panther is a medium tank that outranges the Pershing.

Dead wrong.

In EiR it can be declared for semantical purposes to be considered a heavy. With that being said, multiple times in EiR's past it's been agreed it was a medium (as it is in the real world and was designed for vCoH).

Xrops, Let's keep it civil, shall we?

Here is what you wrote that I am interested in flagging:

Medium tanks dont outrange heavy tanks.
M10 IS NOT A MEDIUM TANK, IT IS A TANK DESTROYER.
it has less HP then all mediums, and far less armor.
It makes these short comings up bu having more speed and slightly more range then its intended targets.

And IIRC the only tanks to outrange the Pershing would be CCT range buffed British mediums like the FF,Cromwell

There are statements in this quote that are, I believe, wrong.

As long as you're 100% clear that the statement "medium tanks don't outrange heavy tanks" isn't true (and I think you now are) then I think we can move on as that was the statement I wanted to make sure was clarified.

No problem man.

The Firefly is in a bit of a grey area.
You have a TD gun and range on a Medium chassis with medium tank hp and stats.

Ill withdraw it from the arguement.

Cromwell buffed with a CCT is the only non reward Medium tank that outranges a Pershing by 2.5m.

Well medium designation is done by weight versus gun, but as long as we're only talking about allied medium tanks and not medium tanks in general (aka the Panther) then I'm cool with that statement and agree.

i think even PQ said it was a tank destroyer and that is why he got rid of its infantry accuracy.
