Of course I am assuming the ISt isn't used by a total idiot that doesn't know what cover or micro is.

Maps in EIR tend to not be just an open field.

You do understand a ATG will be alot less effective in buildings weither its shooting a IST or shooting panther?

A normal p4 can kill that atg.

If you cant get a sticky off in that urban enviroment where you can throw it through buildings and not take damage from it then thats your fault. A stickied IST isn't going anywhere.

Personaly I think Demon for sure should get banned from balance forums for a month, he just wont stop posting troll post. There are also other people posting troll post too but demon is the worst.

a single atg with ap rounds will criple IST quite a bit,it will get 2 shots on IST certanly,and while IST will kill that atg,you will have another atg or tank on field that can finish off IST easly unless it retreats...they rly arent that hard to counter if you know what you are doing...

*Hint: Force the ATG to shoot at your infantry first, thus when reloading, the IST will close in the range quick enough for the ATG only to get 1 shot of. (only required for long range engagements)

Unless  I am looking at the wrong data, I wouldn't say 75% chance to pen P4 /w skirt armor is a good chance to bounce non-AP 57 shots.

Ive played with IST longer to notice that IST bounce alot more then regular WM p4. Whether that is state wise or not, its a hidden gremlin in the RGDs

Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but I've noticed that Ranger Zooks supporting an ATG end up getting killed aswell as with the ATG because I believe more than 70% of the time the ATG will die right then and there in the fire, allowing the IST free range over the Zooks. Unless I need TWO Atgs and Zooks, which I find a bit weird to have that much AT on the field for one tank.

When you say your ATGs die in the fire are you talking about inc shot? If your ATGs are dying to inc shot,  one thing that may save them is placing then behind any object such as a fence, box, dead hulk, car etc.  Inc shot has virtually no arc and therefore can blocked by most objects including corners of buildings, this allows you to often back the ATG away before the inc shot fire can decrew the ATG.  If the ATG gets hit by an inc shot directly then yea there is almost no way to save the ATG as the fire almost instacrits the crew.  In turn placing your zook rangers in green cover actually increases their survivability significantly against normal IST cannon fire.  Hell, if you have 2 or more vet 3 ranger squads in green cover with tank reapers its probably not even worth approaching them with an IST even if those rangers are without ATG cover, the IST would simply take too much damage for little or no return.

accuracy of the gun itsself doesn't matter much for tank shells killing by splash and not sniping single dudes like some light vehicles do

but yeah the axis fanboys don't want to see their toys nerfed  Roll Eyes
