So i got BF 3 for 360 today.

Me I HATED HATED the beta. Metro sucked, guns were imbalanced, glitches, frag fest, etc.

Glad to see the final product came out soo good. Im a Bad Company fan, so not sure how BF fans only will like it.

I only care for rush mode. Maps are big, aiming is hard over a distance, firefights get intense, sound is AMAZING, lots of unlock weapon types (EOD bot, Mortarts, etc)

Glad it came out great.

After sitting in the vent channel for the night listening to people play it. I do want it. But I don't know if thats the team spirit and the desire to play a new game talking or if I actually want BF3.

Sword of the Stars 2 is my top priority!

I played too many games to know a hype when i see one.... and i'm betting that bf 3 will never be as good as 1942/ 2 was. All the purdy gfx will be forgotten when a better looking game will come out.

Also it already gets a big minus for not being WW2. Theres a shitton of games in modern settings and all FPSes are now in modern times /puke.

Preordered BF3 for comp like 5 hours before it came out.  Grin

Its pretty good. Seems alot more destructible then in the beta too.

seriously? are you just taking about the beta? they didnt' have any urban environments to have buildings being blown up but there was glass being shreded (not in bc2) pockmarks in walls, ground, and other stuff (not in bc2) a vertical concrete slab you can blow a hole in and shoot through (not in bc2) foliage being chipped away, etc etc. dont know what you were seeing...

sure you may not see a lot of whole buildings going down like in bc2 but in bf3, everything can be damaged and not juts blown away by rockets but damaged by guns

so how many people are getting or have this for PC? after i get windows 7 running on my desktop ill get around to buying this im sure.

also you don't need windows 7, you need windows vista.

uhg, such a sad day that windows xp isnt enough! i feel like i need to upgrade my desktop to 64bit windows 7 and start taking advantage of 4GB of ram and possibly get more and boost it to 6GB of ram.

Yeah, it's a fucking awesome game! Reminds me of battlefield 2 which was my favorite of the series. So many use full guns to unlock, so many unlocks for your guns and so many special equipment makes every role a fun role to play. The graphics are amazing and the game play is awesome. If you like shooters, then this would be one you don't want to miss!

its a good game.
Wouldnt really compare it to BC 2 or BF 2. Small adjustments or tweaking can change how a game plays out as well. So it can play like the new MOH, but with bigger maps, and vehicles, and good unlocks, and destructible environments.So what game relates to that?... non really. Unless you want to say every FPS is the same

Im not saying this is the best game ever.
My favorite BF games are BF 1942, BF 1943, BC1, BC2, and this one.

They all play different.
But i do agree for losing points on no WW2. Thought BF3 would pay homage to BF 1 since its been so many years. Plus how many modern games do you need?
But you are going off, oh not WW2 never mind it blows.

Looks like to me the environment is roughly 90x more destructible on release then it was in beta.
